I’ve had the battery for one year and it has outperformed the stock original battery that came with it. After a few months, the original battery would not power the edger, unless it was fully charged and even still it cut out before the job was finished, the aftermarket battery have that problem whatsoever.

Great product. It gets the job done.

I was a little suspicious that this battery could be as good as the original . . . but . . so far - I'm impressed. Seems to do the job just fine . . . for a fraction of the price.

These are much more cost effective replacements for the ego batteries, I have had my ego items for about 7 years now. The batteries that came with the trimmer and lawn mower finally died. I ordered 4 of these, unfortunately 1 of the 4 doesn’t hold a charge. The other 3 seem to fine. I am getting a replacement for the one that does t work. I have used the others now a few times in my snow blower and they do seem to last about the same amount of time as the originals. They do have a button on top to check the charge level and they seem to work fine on both faster chargers that I have. It is crazy how much these batteries cost but they are a lot less than the name brand. We will see how long they last over time but for now they seem to be working pretty well.

I bought this mower second hand, and soon learned the battery was failing. This spring, it wouldn't take a charge at all. The brand name replacements are quite expensive. This one is working great! Highly recommend

My battery was purchased for me in December of 2022 as a Christmas gift and I started using it in the spring. All was fine until about a month ago when it started doing weird stuff. My blower would just stop with a full battery, I’d have to release the trigger and it would work again. This happened every few minutes and was very annoying. Now this morning, when it did it again, it no longer starts up again and won’t charge. All I get is red lights when I push the battery check button. I tried the link for warranty info but it goes nowhere. I also called Amazon and the seller is hiding in China, no way to contact them.

Expected a greater last. But it was replaced by younger tool.

I did a test alongside with genuine Ego 5.0 Ah battery.This one run blower 10 minutes on turbo, genuine 15 minutes.So this battery is about 3.0 Ah not 5.0 Ah as advertised.Returning.
