I wasn't expecting to be this blown away by a jar of peanuts, but wow — these are next-level. The flavor from the Sichuan "flower peppers" is absolutely incredible. It starts with a rich, nutty crunch, and then slowly that signature tingling sensation kicks in — not painfully spicy, but electric and mouth-tingling in the best way possible. It's that magical numbing heat you only get from authentic Sichuan cuisine, and it turns these peanuts into something totally unique and addictive. I’ve had spicy peanuts before, but never with this kind of flavor complexity and sensation. They’re perfect on their own or as a snack with a cold drink. If you like bold, adventurous flavors or you’re a fan of Sichuan food, you need to try these. I’ll definitely be ordering another jar (or three)!

I've enjoyed Szechuan pepper ever since discovering it as a young adult. Even knowing what the spice tastes like in its usual context, I found these peanuts to be a mind-blowing flavor revelation. The citrus-peel aspects of the flavor (is it green or toasted Szechuan pepper?) land first (right after the classic peanutty crunch) and gradually morph into a long-lasting pulsating tingle that comes back as a sense memory at random moments all the next day. The flavor intensity means that a small handful of these is a very satisfactory serving. I can't wait to try them as a garnish for stir-fries and to try all other available variations from 50 Hertz!

It must be an acquired taste. I thought they were horrible. My husband agreed, and threw both cans directly in the trash.

I saw these reviewed on a You Tube channel last night, and being familiar with and loving Sichuan pepper in general, ordered them right away. SO good! I'll be buying these again for sure. I'd say the heat could be considered maybe a 3 star out of 5 star heat rating even with biting down on the peppercorns. So not insanely hot, but not mild at all. And you do get that wonderful tingly numbness after eating several of these, not with the first couple, more like when you get to the 10th or 11th batch of 2 or 3 peanuts at a time.

These werent what I was expecting. They definitely left a tingle, but personally they weren't my thing. My husband liked them, and I could where they would be better with beer, but im not a big drinker. I was looking for something different, and these sounded interesting, and they were. Months went by after buying these that I am writing this review, and the company saw i was not completely happy and offered to make it right. That means a lot, and I appreciate the integrity of a business that stands behind their products. Thanks guys!

While I am impressed at how flavorful these are regarding the Szechuan pepper flavor (really integrated, not just a coating), the flavor is a little weird in this format...and I love Szechuan pepper. Thought I would like these, and they are definitely well made, but not wild about the flavor on snack nuts. The seller, however, was super accommodating.

I've loved Sichuan peppers and spicy peanuts for years (I used to live in Asia with my family) and I'm so happy to have finally found my favorite brand! 50Hertz peanuts are the freshest ones i've eaten - crisp, delicious and full of numbing peppercorn flavor. Not too spicy but the umami builds with each bite -- they are addictive and hard to stop eating! Would be great with beer or tea. I find myself craving them and will buy more for myself and to give to friends. Definitely worth the price for a premium product. Thank you!!!
