Much darker than on the photo
I have ordered light red as liked the nice light colour to try on but it seems more like dark burgundy and I had medium brown before so maybe you need to have lighter colour to get light red but good cover so 3 stars but at hope will wash off soon and get lighter as I don't like this shade on me unfortunately.

It's a semi-permanent colour ......
....... so if you wash your hair frequently, you will not get your money's worth. If you wash once a week, then this is for you. I also think the light red was too light, though of course that depends on so many variables.Clairol should never have discontinued their HYDRIENCE range. I think this another ghastly boardroom decision. In that range we had St Tropez Red (31) Medium Red which was very popular and could have been carried over to the new range.

So far so good
I've had it on for a month or so, and it looks great still - although the truth is that the colour has changed a bit from a darker tone than expected to a lighter (how it should be I think)one.

Way nicer than Clairol's regular semi-permanent dye
My regular hair dye colour got discontinued and so I switched brands to get the red I like. I tried the regular Clairol brand and didn't like anything about the experience of using it, but this one... it feels nice, it looks nice, it even smelled quite nice while I was using it.I'm not sure why the person on the box has such a long neck and I very much hope that's something to do with PhotoShop but that would be my only criticism. And it's not as bad as the person on the box of yet a different brand, who looks like they've evolved to be able to reach the highest leaves on the tree.I'll be switching to this hair dye from now on.

Lasts quite a while
I was bored and wanted a change from my salon applied bleach bayalage.I wanted a drastic change so thought it would be best to try semi permanent colour. It has lasted more than 28 washes but I think my hair sucks up products and I use silicone free shampoos which could be the reason. I'm getting to the point where I'm getting impatient and wanting to change the colour, but want this one out first lol. I only have a few greys and they disappeared. I had lovely comments though.
