I’ll buy again
My family loves smart wool socks and I was looking for a similar sock that maybe didn’t cost as much. These are soft and seem to still wick the moisture away just as effectively. They are thick and well made, time will tell if they hold up in the toe area. They didn’t shrink in the wash and my husband says they are warm and comfortable.

Love these socks, just be aware of care instructions and shoe/food hygiene.
I LOVE these socks. They're warm, comfortable, and fit well. They seem to wash well, but its recommended not to put them into the dryer and to not use fabric softener on them because of the material and the effectiveness of their ability to wick sweat. I do recommend using a shoe deodorizer in between uses, though...because by the end of the day they can get a bit stinky.

Ok for spring, summer, fall hiking - NOT compression grade socks
I bought the Anlisim Merino Wool Ankle Running Hiking socks in medium. I wear size 8 - 8.5 US women's size shoes. The socks are pretty good, but I do not consider them compression socks at all. They are also advertised as having a thick cushion. The cushion is not as thick as Kirkland (Costco) wool socks, but I am happy for that since I purchased these as a summer weight hiking sock. Out of the bag they were quite loose. After washing and drying on medium heat they tightened up enough that I am willing to keep them, but overall I am not especially impressed. If you want them for good compression, look elsewhere such as Sockwell - which are expensive but provide true compression and are worth the expense if you actually want true compression socks. I wore the Anlisim socks yesterday on a 12 mile, 2,500 foot elevation gain hike. Compared to Kirkland (Costco) and Darn Tough hiking socks, these feel quite fibrous which became a bit irritating on the bottom of the foot toward the end of a long hike. I am not certain how well the heel and toe areas these will hold up compared to Costco and Darn Tough socks. I was hoping these would be a nice substitute for Darn Toughs which I am trying to get away from b/c Darn Toughs are 100% synthetic (not to mention ridiculously expensive). Anlisim are thinner than Kirkland wool socks, making this brand better for summer hiking than Kirkland, but I will stick with Kirkland socks for cool and winter season activities because Kirkland are more comfortable (soft, non fibrous cushion underfoot), fit better, and hold up reasonably well in the toe and heel. For day-to-day wear Anlisim socks are fine, but I am not sure I will buy them again.

Best socks I've ever worn
I've never been gaga about a brand of socks before, but I have been wearing these on my cycling adventures for about six months and have found them to be utterly fantastic. I'm new to the comfort and functionality of Merino wool so maybe that's part of it, but these socks are so darn comfortable in a variety of weather conditions (cold, hot, dry, wet), I've stopped wearing any of my other cycling socks. I rotate through all six pairs each week and they are wearing wonderfully well. I don't even see any thin spots on them, they are still as thick as the day I received them. I thought Merino wool was fussy when washing but I haven't babied these socks at all and just throw them in with all of my other bike gear in a cold/cold wash/rinse cycle and a hot dryer. Super easy to take care of. Could not be happier. I just ordered another set, this time with ankle coverage, for hiking.

Very comfortable
I absolutely love these. The fit was perfect and the way they feel On the feet is amazing. I bought them to work out in but haven’t tried them for that. They are warm and comfortable for lounging around too.

Terrific product at affordable price!
Very happy with these socks. I was trying to find a cheaper version of my fav $25 socks, and these are pretty great! Fit well in my work shoes and sneakers and still keep my feet warm . So far seem durable and keep out the wind. I'm in South FL, so cold is relative, but these work for my thin blooded bones. Well made and seem durable. Don't lose their snug fit and support even after 10 hrs of wearing them. I would def buy again and recommend to others.

Decent socks, just not thick whatsoever like they claim.
First main note is that these are NOT thick. Putting the word "Thick" in the product name makes this very misleading. For about the past 10-12 years I have only worn wool socks, so I know all about them and have tried multiple pairs so I feel like I have a good comparison in mind. These would essentially be men's dress socks in the world of "wool socks according to thickness". So compared to typical wool socks, these things are very thin. If you want actual THICK wool ankle socks, look up the Caudblor Men's Merino Wool Hiking Socks. Those are properly thick. Due to the thickness, just because these claim 70% wool vs 65% wool from a competing sock, the fact that these are half the thickness means that in reality you have a sock that has maybe only 50% the amount of wool as one that has 65% in the contents label, but has much more product that goes around your foot. These socks are fine for basic wear, especially could be good in the summer when you still want the benefits of wool, but don't need the thickness. They also have "compression" in the name, and while they have a tiny bit here or there, they definitely do not seem to compress anything on my actual foot compared to some high end socks like Nike elite or whatever. If you are looking for plush, truly thick and wam wool socks, I would recommend something from People Socks or Caudblor, as those are much closer to the thickness and warmth that you typically think of in a wool sock.

I’m writing this review having owned these socks for many months. They are my go to socks for the summer months. Soft, comfortable, breathable - do not smell. I’ve replaced my cotton socks with these. They have washed well and lasted well too. I will buy again.

I recently purchased the 6 Pairs Merino Wool Ankle Running Hiking Socks, and I must say, they have surpassed my expectations in terms of comfort, support, and performance. Here's a detailed review based on my experience: Comfort and Softness From the moment I put them on, I noticed how incredibly soft these socks are. The merino wool blend provides a luxurious feel against the skin, which makes them perfect for long runs and hikes. They offer just the right amount of warmth without being too heavy or causing overheating. Support and Cushioning One of the standout features of these socks is the excellent support they offer. The compression support around the arch and ankle gives a snug fit, which is essential for preventing blisters and reducing fatigue during prolonged activities. The thick cushioning is another highlight, providing an extra layer of comfort that feels like walking on clouds. This cushioning also helps absorb impact, making each step feel more energized and less taxing on the feet. Breathability Despite the thick cushioning, these socks are highly breathable. The merino wool naturally wicks away moisture, keeping my feet dry even during intense workouts. This breathability is crucial in preventing unpleasant odors and maintaining overall foot health. Performance These socks have genuinely added an extra bounce to my step. Whether I’m running on trails or hiking up steep inclines, the combination of cushioning and support translates to a more enjoyable and less strenuous experience. The added spring in my step helps with endurance and reduces the impact on my joints. Conclusion Overall, the 6 Pairs Merino Wool Ankle Running Hiking Socks are an outstanding choice for anyone looking for high-quality, supportive, and comfortable socks. They excel in providing the necessary support and cushioning for high-impact activities while maintaining breathability and durability. I highly recommend these socks to runners, hikers, and anyone in need of reliable and comfortable foot support.

These feel really good, bought them for a holiday in the Mediterranean, walked miles everyday in new trainers . Never had any discomfort, never sweaty feet and good support. Cant say how long they will last but recommended on a few weeks experience.

Fazit: absolute Empfehlung!
