Immortal Hulk Omnibus

This book is MASSIVE. In a good way, but the binding can not handle the strain. Small seperations are already present and will eventually cause the spine to fail😔.... Let me be clear, this is not Amazon's fault. It's a manufacturing issue with something this large....Now as far as the books' content?? Absolutely stellar!! Maybe one of the best reads I've ever had the pleasure of. And I've read many many comics in my life. Art is grotesque and beautifully done. Story is fantastic! Just a shame that the spine can't hold up. Such a beautiful volume.And in case you were wondering, you only need a basic understanding of who hulk is (the movies and shows would be more than enough), to understand and love this wonderful world and work. TEN STARS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ARC. Just be warned the binding will not last.

Amazing art and story!!! If you are a casual fan or don't know much about the Hulk this is the perfect story for you! It's filled with a brand new fresh take on the Hulk that changed him for the better and is one of the greatest runs of all time!

Advertised as used but in perfectly readable condition and that's exactly how it arrived. The worst and most noticeable blemishes are two small tears in the book cover in the back end. If you're not worried about collector's value this is a great grab, you've checked out library books in far worse condition.

An absolute reimagining of the Hulk in a way that expands and improves upon everything you knew up to this point. Returns Hulk to his horror roots where he feels the most natural while at the same time elevating Hulk's greater role in the Marvel Universe. A truly exceptional story with gut wrenching body horror artwork. Highly recommended!

Great book!

Amazing storyline! Loved it so much I had to get the omnibus.Arrived in damn near perfect condition. Minor battle damage in the top corner. Nothing too serious. Pages felt good as I was stretching the spine. The packaging could use a bit more care next time but other than that, it arrived perfect.

Got as a gift, recipient loved it.

This run was phenomenal. I didn't understand why Joe Fixit couldn't appear as Gray Hulk except for a handful of panels in the entire 1,600+ page tome. It's main flaws for me were its weak beginning and end. Hulk confronting the robber in issue #1 did not take three pages to tell. #49 told like it was some adult picture book. The condition the omnibus arrived in was pretty bad. Some of the dust jacket was ripped and part of the back cover was torn off in multiple places at the top. But I paid far less than the cover price, so I let it slide.My issue with this collection by itself, rather than the series, was that they forgot, or way more likely, omitted an eight or ten page story drawn by Kevin Nowlan. It was about Hulk fighting the Scarecrow, apparently a very minor Iron Man villain. I assume it was not collected from fear of lawsuits from DC Comics. It was in the Time of Monsters one-shot. Marvel Wikia said that it was called "Time of Fire." If you were looking forward to that, forget it. At least, it's not in here that I can see.My two cents: very much worth the price if discounted, otherwise it's steep to omit stories and have damages from shipping.
