Amazing tool

Had an Estwing since I was an apprentice & I am now 59 but recently lost it - was heart broken as it was still as good as new There are many out there cheaper but none match, there are simply none better- take my advice, spend that bit more you’ll not regret it.

Replacement for my stolen hammer which I had for 15 years, tried other brands not a patch on Estwing feels good in the hand when in use & the weight is perfect unlike others. 5 STARS

These Hammers last a life time and are so well made, I’ve only had to replace mine as my old one has gone missing on a job site but can’t be with out my Estwing.

I purchased this 'English pattern' Estwing hammer in 2019; I prefer the slim head. The price has since gone up 65%! It is a an accurate hammer to use for its weight and has good feel. It develops a light patina of rust with use but that doesn't affect the function. The Vinyl handles are very durable and provide a degree of shock absorption; important when used repeatedly. In both these respects the Vinyl handles are better than the traditional leather handles, plus they can be used in the wet! The construction is strong and it gives every impression of being durable. The finish is just OK and looks rushed in places, particularly the jaws: hence four stars.

Bang on what I was looking for. Seen this standing out like a nail waiting to be hit. So bought it & it really hammered home how good quality the steel was when using. Could maybe knock the price down a touch? Just a little tap?

Great hammers never let me down strong sturdy and comfortable

Clear instructions for it to be left with a neighbour. Driver left it on my door step where it could have been stolen. Hammer came badly scratched in several places. Only my son needs it for work immediately or I would have returned
