Corsair TX-M Series 650 Watt 80 Plus Gold Certified PSU (UK) Hybrid Modular Power Supply Unit - Black

After reading lots of reviews i was drawn to the Corsair TX650M on a number of sites, I replaced a very cheap PSU and decided to buy a replacement that had a good reviews and a long warranty. It powers my PC and the 5 fans without any problems and is very quite, definitely worth while buying a good quality product buying cheap is false economy. Plenty of cables come with the corsair and I do like the semi modular features as you only use the cables you need. The only slight downside is the molex cable, I have one PCI USB 3 card that uses this connection but the cable has 3 molex makes it look slightly untidy in my clear sided case. I would recommend the Corsair but get the more powerful versions to make your PC future proof.

I bought this power supply from amazon on prime day for £53. The unit cannot be beaten at this price. The unit is very nice looking and fitted in my h500 very nicely, however it was a little difficult to install. This is not the fault of the power supply - more of a problem with the case. Once installed however, the psu is very quiet and is not audible over my gpu and case fans at all. One tip is that you will need to install the psu with the fan facing down in most cases, pulling air into the case. The Unit serves my pc nicely, with a gtx 1080 and a ryzen 5 2600. I Highly reccomend this psu especially if you manage to get it at a similar price to what I paid. 5 stars!

Corsair TX-M Series 650W: Worked straight out the box, which is always great relief when ordering a new PSU. I've never had any trouble with Corsair PSUs like I've heard other people suffering from in the past, so maybe I'm just lucky. This would be the 6th or so Corsair PSU I've had in various builds in the past and for family's PCs with no issues yet. It runs quiet, and doesn't have any frills besides the part-modular system. I bought this to accommodate the relatively small PC case I got recently (Fractal Design Define C TG). One thing to note: the modular cables can be difficult (stiff) to plug into the back of the PSU, particularly once this PSU is inside the case and it's harder to work around, so I'd recommend you plug in the cables you know you'll need before installing the PSU into the case. Otherwise, the cables are good quality, they're completely black to go with my black & white colour scheme of my build, and the PSU works well.

Great power supply, keeps my i7-9700k and RTX 2080 running just fine. Even if both the CPU and GPU are overclocked there are no signs of the PSU running out of juice.Never heard it running, even after long gaming sessions, no vibrations noticed either.The hybrid modular system allows for easy connections for the main sockets (e.g. 24 pin and CPU 8/12 pin) and plenty of sockets remaining for GPU and SATA power on the modular side.One thing I noticed is that when the PC is turned on/off a rather loud click can be heard. It had me worried at first, but read up on it and it is nothing to worry about. Perfectly normal.Overall it is a solid, high quality power supply. Would definitely recommend it to anyone building a new system or just in need of more power.

I bought myself an RTX 3060 12gb as a christmas present to myself, but realised my old PSU was too old and did not support it. After looking on amazon I decided to buy this.Was my first time installing a PSU, and worked like a charm with no issues. Took me 3 hours to remove my old PSU and install this one, but I believe that's down to my lack of experience rather than the product as I could build it again much faster now that I've done it once.The PSU is great, there isn't any noise at all even under load, and I'm even overclocking my PC parts with the spare watts (CPU and GPU)

This product is incredible, the noise level, the fan quality and the overall electrical output. For the price its a bargain and at an ample 650w and being semi-modular is well worth the money. The cables are easy to install and mount within my case (p400a), the design provides low levels of noise even at high amp usage. However, my only gripe is the fact that when I turn my Pc on the PSU seems to make a click sound during turn on and off, I am unsure if I just have a faulty PSU or my case is causing this however, otherwise I would give this product 5 stars.

Putting the PSU in was easy, the thing is well built and does it's job silently. Cables are strong, well made, cable management is good, what with the modularity. One criticism is this; the plastic used on the cables is quite stiff and sharp.So, this wonderful, hefty little thing has already saved my computer, from a bad GPU. Whilst I was playing a game, my PC suddenly shut-off. No panic at first, clearly something went wrong. Tried to turn it on again and again, no dice. Did a PSU test and it worked fine, it turns out it was the GPU. All the while I blamed the PSU for not letting the computer start, it started fine when took out the GPU. Looks like the PSU was actually tying to protect my computer, from too much power draw I guess. All in all, I deeply recommend.
