He requires that the water stay running while in the bath 🤣 and since he has learned now to turn it on himself while in the bath we lost hope on keeping it off. Our solution until this toy was keeping the drain slightly unplugged while the water was running so we didn't overflow the tubThis toy is wonderful. It has a good constant flow the entire time, it is a very cute simple design with good colors. It is a good size, quality is very nice and I love the extra detail of the little cups that it comes with. We have only used it once so far but my son played with it the entire time he was in the bath

We have had this toy for over a year and have used it during bath times off and on. We make sure just the bottom portion is under water during use. After baths I am always sure to turn it on once the item is not longer submerged in water. I then turn it upside down a few times to make sure most of the water has drained out. We have enjoyed using it as a car wash, using it to fill measuring cups, and as a shower for animal figurines. We take it out of the bathroom to let it dry out between uses. Absolutely no complaints. I was very relieved that this product stopped our toddler from requesting a steady stream of faucet water during bath times.

**Update** We've now had the toy since November 2010, as of last night (June 2011) the pump no longer works. Thought we just needed batteries but after replacing them it still does not turn on. It was a great toy while it lasted, but I do not believe we will be buying a new one since it lasted less then a year. I still maintain my original review, we did not have to replace the batteries very frequently, the suction cups held up well and it provided several hours of fun for my toddler through ages 16-22 months.Pros: low noise level, batteries last several weeks, suction cups and outside material good quality and stands up to toddler 'abuse', variety of uses with different cups and can use other toys with it,Cons: not very much pressure when your child is used to the normal bath tub spout; but to be expected with the very small pump, delay when pressing button to turn 'on' some times causing frustration for my toddler; thinking it wasn't working, instructions say to have the bottom of the spout as near to the bottom of the bath as possible, when filling the bath tub more this allows less room to play, *Ultimate con is that the pump stopped working**Original review: We've had the toy for over 3 weeks and have not had to replace the batteries. Construction is good and sturdy for being pulled and pushed and yanked and otherwise toddler-abused. Suction cups are strong and construction allows for movement while keeping the unit in place. I was worried the pump would be loud but it is very quiet, can hardly hear it at all. My daughter has had fun figuring out the different cups, the peek-a-boo one is her favorite and I thought that would be the one she wouldn't be able to figure out. I can see she will love this toy for years to come. I would recommend it to everyone with kids.I got this for my 16 month old girl. She used to be take it or leave it when it came to bath time. Now that we have this toy she runs to the bath room for bath time. And as an extra bonus, she SITS and plays with it for the whole bath time! Sitting in the tub was a complete impossibility before having the spout to play with! Now she doesn't want bath time to end! For me, bath time went from a whiny "How do I entertain you and stay dry" (not)... constant battle to a... well, really it is just as fun for mommy now-a-days since she has all the fun she needs with this spout!

We love it! One warning.. The screws strip easily to replace the battery’s make sure you have the perfect fit screw driver! Batteries last a good while. Highly recommend

My almost 2 year old absolutely loves this thing! He can turn it on and off himself. It stays suctioned to the side of the tub really well. I really just bought it for the water pump/faucet feature but he loves playing with all the little cups it comes with too. He really has fun exploring what's each of them do.

My girls love this for the bath! We’ve had it about 2 weeks and so far it’s still working well. I’d buy another if this one broke. Sticks well. Haven’t had to clean it yet. Seems safe for my 1.5 and 3.5 yr old. Super cute and easy for both girls to turn on and off.

My young toddler loves this toy! It worked well for us for 9 months and now is broken. With a change in batteries it still does not work.
