Decent laptop, useless webcam. Just wrong webcam.
It's our second Huawei Mate (previous was 14'). Just like the smaller one, it's well-built, it works as it should, and overall a very good value for money. Whoever decided to integrate the camera in the keyboard, should not have done this. There's no position of the laptop which allows to work and be seen on the camera in a way people would agree seeing you. I really don't care if the bazel is a few millimeters wider. Camera should be on the lid. Unlike the 14' model, this one doesn't have backlit keyboard. If these two drawbacks aren't a problem for you, it's a good laptop for a good price.

Great buy
I love these laptops. It was a gift for my dad since I already own one. Although he was bummed that it wasn’t a 15” or greater he is very pleased and happy. His job means he is always on the go and as such his laptop also makes those journeys. He is happy and so am I.

Purchased for partner as original one dropped and broken beyond repair
Partner was always very happy with her first computer but accidentally dropped it and damaged charging plug beyond repair as was charging at the time, hence why we replaced it
