Solid set
Easy to set up, sounds great and feels great. The pads and cymbals are all pretty well made so you can go all out, and it folds up neatly for storage.

Great beginner drum set
I really like this drum set, one of the cheapest out there. Can easily move around and secure it. I had it for a little over a year and it served me well. And that extra crash cymbal is a nice touch really. Although the hi-hat sometimes is not responsive per one note but not all the time so you won't hear it

Nice drum set. Poor customer service.
This is a nice drum set. The set was packaged well and easy to assemble. The number of sounds is really good. I was finding different sounds that I like, although they were parts of different sets. There's a user kit where you can choose your own sounds, which is what I will probably use. I don't expect this to fully replace a real drum set, but it is good for learning, as well as having a quieter set for practicing at home. I own a lot of Donner musical instruments and have been quite happy with the quality. The down side was actually getting it. I was first sent the EC-3130 model with only three cymbals when I had ordered the EC-3133 set with four cymbals. Amazon made it easy to return and exchange. The second set I received was the correct model. I would give the drum set four stars for ease of assembly and drum responsiveness. The only issue was dealing with customer service. After contacting them about receiving the wrong set and an initial email saying they would check into it, a whole week went by without another word from Donner. Also, the Melodics link still won't work using the Amazon order numbers, also without a response from Donner customer service. I'm dropping a star from the review for lack of customer service. In summary: Good product. Finally received what was expected. Poor response from customer service. Edit: After writing this review, Donner Customer Service reached out. I think we both agree Amazon shipped the wrong set the first time, which was resolved by the replacement. I have lots of Donner musical instruments (at least seven) and all are very good quality. This drum set is exactly what I expected and is a really good drum learning tool. As far as the drum set is concerned, I am a satisfied customer. I'm glad their customer service team reached out to try to make sure such issues don't happen to others in the future. Just be aware that if you have issues, it may take a week or two to get a resolution. Out of all the Donner products I own, this had been the first issue I've had, and it really wasn't Donner's fault. There's always room for improvement, especially in customer service. I've added a star back for their willingness to work things out.

Great and very satisfied
Fun to play and packaged well. My child loves it. Quiet for those that aren’t listening on the headphones. Does fold up a little to help with space. Only things I might say is the headphones aren’t the highest quality and don’t pick up every beat when playing fast. And adjusting the throne/ seat takes a couple steps but neither effect what we use it for.

Great Purchase
This was shipped in perfect condition, packaging was well done. Quick delivery and the product itself was everything it was supposed to be. My son loves it and well worth the purchase. The sound is amazing on this Electric Drum Kit and easy to put together.

Does its job, packed too well
I bought this thinking it would be a nice upgrade from my old Roland TD-11K kit that's around 15 years old now...I figured the technology may have improved, the overall concept may have been refined a bit, but no such luck. NOTE: I did not take any time to try fine-tuning each pad's sound settings, as whatever is included as factory defaults should be sufficient to gauge play quality. This kit is affordable and does what it's supposed to do - ie: it plays a drum sound when you hit a drum pad. Unfortunately it feels more like playing a soundboard than a drum kit - by that I mean despite the drums all having mesh heads, when you hit a pad it plays the same sound, regardless of how firmly you hit the pad (see note above). One area this is most noticeable is with the hi-hat, it was either open or closed, no in-between...but again there may be settings I didn't fiddle with. Regardless, I would expect an electric kit to perform as intended out of the box, without the need for extra configuration. For the price, this kit would make a great gift for someone who's just starting out on drums, or wants a drum set-shaped soundboard. It does have a wide selection of sounds to choose from, but if you are an experienced drummer and want a good-sounding electric kit in a technical sense, I'd recommend just saving up a bit more and springing for a larger brand like Roland, as the product quality is proven and the company has a reputation to uphold. It costs more, but you get what you pay for.

Great quality and sound.
Former professional drummer. My very oversized Tama set is in storage and there's just no room in my home anymore to keep them set up, and I needed to get my chops in. The Donner DED-200X seemed to be an exceptional alternative. It took a little getting used to but I was very happy with the quality and sound of this set. Plus the fact that it only took two days from the day I ordered it to when I received it I was very pleased.

Great beginner friendly drum set! And it’s quiet!
I’m brand new to drums so I’m still learning what is good and what isn’t, but I really like how you can adjust the sounds of everything and save it as your own preset. I also like the presets given for different genres or types of playing. One thing to note is that the material does get pet hair stuck to it but that’s not a big deal to me. It comes with sticks and the kick drum pedal which are great! While you are limited to the bars holding it up all the drums and cymbals can be moved or angled to however works best for you. If you’re an adult planning to use this I would recommend using a different pair of headphones as the ones it comes with are quite small and might give you a headache.

When I received the product, there was a problem with the module screen. The issue fixed itself, but it started again a month later. When I reported the problem to Donner, they didn’t take care of it and told me to contact Amazon. Amazon issued a partial refund for the module. However, if I ever order again, I will definitely stay away from Donner. Their customer service is absolutely unhelpful and just wastes your time.
