Beautiful rice! Really tasty and not claggy. As good as Tilda Basmati, in my humble opinion!

Perfectly cooked rice every time
I have purchased this rice a few times now. Can't fault it. Cooks perfectly every time and I prefer this to a number of other brands bought from the supermarket. I cook mine in the Joseph Joseph microwave rice cooker for 9 minutes and leave to stand for 5 minutes. The rice never sticks, has a really nice scent to it and it is reassuring to know that after cooking this rice many many times, that I can depend on the results every time. Update: have just received my latest order of the 5 packs of rice today, 22/08/2025 and the best before date is the 16/10/2025. So I have just under 8 weeks shelf life for 2500gs of rice! I will never get through all that in time. This has made me think twice about ordering it again. Very disappointing as the rice itself is good but not impressed about the shelf life. My current 1kg bag is dated April 2026, so where on earth was this set dug out from?!

Rice rice baby.
Excellent rice for the price (I’m a poet & didn't know it). Not very starchy at all so requires less washing and cooks decent without coming out stodgy & clumpy. Will definitely be buying again when it runs out. Pro tip - use one or two teaspoons of veg oil in with the rice when it cooks and your rice won’t stick to the rice cooker bowl & is less likely to clump together.

Excellent basmati rice absorbs water perfectly great rice every time good flavour texture and taste wash half pack of rice drain bring water to the boil add the rice salt to taste water should be 1 & 1/2 inch above the rice bring to the boil stir once reduce heat to low cover and leave for 30-40 minutes m f
