Flush not as we go into the night
This seemed ok at the start, 3 months of blissful flushing and then today, 7th December, the handle snapped right off. It's not like much strength is needed to flush a toilet and yet my daughter texted me at work with the good news that the lever is now a separate item from the shaft. You can't even get the shaft out of the plastic collar to have a go at ferforming some sort of repair. This is made of monkey metal (sorry, die-cast, the sort of metal Dinky and Corgi cars are made of) so not really structural in its composition. In conclusion, this is garbage and should be avoided at all cost (£7 odd). Pictures are attached for your perusal.

Does the job!
Yes, it is a plastic most of the parts but it does the job. It's a rather bit wobbly but it was easy to get used to it. After all it's not a furniture handle you expect to be fixed well. However, It looks nice and does the job perfectly for the value. I was going to buy more expensive one and thought if this one look nice and does the job what else do you need to flush the toilet. ).Just don't expect more for what you are paying. Happy with it and recommend it!

Waste of money cheap rubbish
PLEASE READ DO NOT BUY!!!!***UPDATE*** 4 DAYS LATER IT HAS BROKEN. Honestly people please save the cash ignore those who claim this is a good handle it really is not save the cash buy a better quality handle I recommend searching for a Heritage Handle the one I bought yesterday and arrived today was just shy of £15 its a far far far far far better quality handle fits better looks better and works better and I can see the Heritage handle lasting years compared to this SHODDY MERRIWAY handle yes it was £15 but its worth it it will last you far longer and looks a lot better.I broke the original toilet handle after many many years of use the bar snapped inside so it would no longer flush and needed a quick replacement next day before the kids filled the loo :PThis arrived next day before 12pm, the misses fitted it its super easy to do takes a few seconds, but what a load of rubbish this is, its the same day of owning it and its already bending it constantly comes undone and has started to cross thread itself i have to keep tightening it up inside the cistern, its really poorly made too i removed it completely and the plastic screw parts are super thin cheap plastic its slowly shredding itself it has already started showing stress marks on the plastic screw section, this is when i noticed it had bent the handle was slightly bowed and when you pop the screw section off the metal bar underneath is thin and twisted, compared to the handle that broke which was on for many years that was a solid metal bar this is a load of rubbish in comparison they even give you a pointed wood screw to screw the Lever Arm to the metal bar lmao what????.I've already bought another replacement I would suggest you save your money and spend a bit more to get a better quality handle one with a solid bar straight through and a thicker longer handle, even if its an emergency buy better ;)

sturdy chromed handle, poor quality fixings
Happened for both handles I purchased: The plastic molded thread and nut naturally have imperfections from manufacturing, but the handle's grinding against the imperfections when you flush and you can't disassemble the threaded part to smooth them all out. The threaded body is a bit too short and the nylon (?) or plastic nut barely tightens up as a result. Even if you can get the nut tight, it comes loose quickly, and you can't overtighten as its plastic and will just slip off or damage the thread. Ended up replacing with a nut from another toilet handle altogether and it's holding in place better now.The handle itself is sturdy chrome and I think is good quality and will last.

Simple replacement for a worn handle
My old flush handle had been loose for a while, and unfortunately the plastic thread was broken. I had temporarily glued it in place, but I now wish I had not wasted time and just bought a new handle straight away. Replacement was pretty easy, adjusting the lever arm to the best distance and hooking it into the flush mechanism before inserting the arm handle into it and screwing it tight. An adjustable wrench was needed to get the nylon nut firmly holding the handle in place. As you can see from the photo the toilet cistern is very old, probably over 30 years, and replacing the float valve and the handle has given the flush a new lease of life.

cheap and cheerful.
I am not sure if am on my second or third.Overall it functions well and looks good for the priceIt is easy to fit but the handle does snap off (handle and spindle single cast item) after a year and not due to rough treatmentI could look at other handles but it is easy to fit (especially as replacing like for like) and given the price satisfied.Though now I think about not very environmental so will look for a betting quality item next time
