Just the job.
I'm perfectly happy with this slide. Made of solid brass with a nice shiny finish, though this of course gets scuffed up the moment you start using it. I would say I have average sized fingers, and this slide fits nicely on my ring finger, resting around the second joint. It sounds great in use, and that's coming from someone who is far from proficient in slide guitar. For the money, you probably won't find better.

Decent enough
I like that it’s brass, looks nice. Finish on it and edges are all nice and smooth. Obviously it’s from Dunlop so not expecting anything completely rubbish. Feel it was a fair price compared to others I looked at for what I personally wanted and needed. I bought medium. It fits fine on the little finger and the ring finger. But in hindsight or next time I would perhaps have bought a large. I don’t have big or fat fingers. Would say they are maybe regular. So I feel that if you are a someone in particular and your fingers are quite big, defo go for a large one. Especially if you are intending to use this slide on your first finger to bar etc…

Cheap and good sounding, slightly less attack and slightly more warmth than the chromed steel version.
I have the brass version (Model 222) and the chromed steel version (Model 220). They both sound similar on my dreadnought guitar but sound very different on my parlor guitar. Brass sounds warmer, more mellow, and drags a bit more moving up and down the strings. The chromed steel version sounds a bit louder with more of a front end attack, yet is smoother sliding up and down the strings. Both equally good, just depends on the sound you're looking for. Also, for what it's worth, the brass one is a couple grams lighter. The other great thing is these are pretty cheap. So it's easy to experiment.

Great sound, size a little small
Quality is fine but I don’t have large hands and the medium is too tight to use for long periods.

Excellent slide - one of the best I’ve tried
Great slide for acoustic or single coil guitar such as a telecaster where the warmer tone of the brass slide takes away the shrillness you get from glass or steel. Nice mass to the slide as well which helps provide more sustain and resonance

Quite a thin diameter
I can only use this slide on my 3rd or 4th fingers - it's very narrow. My fingers are pretty average - certainly not chunky. After a few minute's playing, the hands need a bit of a wash as the residue is quite noticeable. A bit like the colouration on the finger ends from many types of electric guitar strings. The sound is nice and mellow - not as sharp a glass slide would be.

Good Value
I needed a smaller slide to fit on my little finger. I have a large glass slide but that was much too loose to get decent control. I was advised that a brass slide would be better than glass for the work I intended (blues slide playing on an Ozark resonator). It fits comfortably on my little finger and I now have much improved control. Good piece of kit.

Great slide for a first timer like me. Fit my ring finger like a glove. Snug yet comfortable. The sound it produces is great and is what I am looking for. Quality build.

Purchased as a gift. Have used Dunlop slides for many years - can always count on their quality, consistency, value, proper fit, comfort, and tone! Great selection and a wide variety of materials, lengths, thicknesses, and diameters from which to choose. A slide for every type of player and musical style!!

Il suono del brass risulta molto più bilanciato sulle alte frequenze rispetto allo steel, sia sull'acustica che sull'elettrica. Davvero ottimo.
