Very handy idea. Solid Dewalt product.

Very handy addition to my 1/4 inch nut driver tool bag. Swivel head is nice to get around run capacitors in A/C units to reach the mounting bracket bolts. Countless other uses. Head also locks to use as a straight extension . Accepts any 1/4 inch bit. Hasn't failed yet, and I'm hard on tools. Time is money.

It is pretty durable and works good. I bought it because I trust the dewalt brand. So far so good. Some people reviewed it is hard to remove the bits, but it is not that hard in my case. I recommend it.

This hex drive uniwiggle is almost perfect for those awkward to reach screws. The fact that you can lock it straight is a huge bonus, you basically will never need another bit holder again. However. There's a problem. A rather big problem in fact. It holds bits well. A little too well as others have stated, which is really funny because the bit holder is magnetic, but you'd never know it from the tight lockup a weird internal split ring provides. The split ring in question is shown in the attached photos, along with the tools I used to remove it. Essentially I peeled it out of the groove it sits in and then once I bent enough of it down I smashed it further in with the screwdriver till it popped sideways so I could extract with needle nose pliers. Now if you know you only need one sized driver for this tool, cool. Skip the modification, put your bit in you need for those weird hard to reach spots, throw it in your tool bag and pull it out when needed. But if you have a job with lots of different bits needed and lots of different hard to reach spots, you're going to want to modify it. Even with the set of knipex adjustable pliers I keep in my pocket, some bits were still near impossible to remove before the modification. If you've got poor grip strength it will probably be impossible even with pliers and a vise. It is that hard to remove bits. Now maybe if you're a masochist and can fight through however long it would take to wear down that split ring from usage, it would loosen up, but it's spring steel and rather stout for its size so I doubt it. If Dewalt would start making these without the internal split ring, this would be a 5 star, must have tool all day long for the tradesman or just a casual DIYer. If you're handy and not scared to modify things it is a 5 star tool, but you have to put in a little effort to get it there.

I admit rarely using this item but when I do, it's great. Find it on sale near the holidays for extra value for your money. The product can be used in a variety of places and it is very durable. Easy fit when you need "that tool". Don't strip heads or bust knuckles.

The DEWALT Pivot Bit Holder works like a Swiss watch. Smooth operation paired with famous tough DeWalt quality. So many times in that past I have had no choice but to toe-in screws because I could not get the angle need to properly set the screw. The DEWALT Pivot Bit Holder solves that issue with watch-like precision. Many of the cheaper pivot screw holders chatter in use. The DEWALT Pivot Bit Holder puts an end to that nonsense, BTW: Comes with lots of driver heads

I bought the DEWALT DWPVTSET Pivot Holder Set expecting great quality, but changing the bits is frustratingly difficult. The ring inside the pivot holder grips the bits way too tightly. You literally need a pair of pliers to pull a bit out, and even then, it requires a lot of force. I also can't seem to get the retaining wire out. I really hope the grip loosens up with more use.
