AuKing Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth, 5G Native 1080P Projector 4K Supported (Beige)

In my estimation, this is a solid 4.5-star product, so I rounded up to a full five stars for it. The half-star deduction is related to the audio quality produced by the projector. I realize that the emphasis on a projector is always going to be on picture quality - which is excellent here - but the sound produced was always a bit low for my taste and upping it via remote didn't seem to have all that much impact even when moved up all the way to 100 on the volume scale.First thing out of the box, I grabbed the manual. As is often the case, this is another of those manuals written by someone for whom English is not their native language. That said, there were only a couple of head-scratchers to deal with, so it wasn't too bad. But unlike most manuals for products of this type, there was no deliberate step-by-step set of numbered instructions to go by. What's there is, is excellent, but I found myself going by the trial-and-error method a few times, also.As it turns out, I fairly quickly got the projector connected to my home network and was able to connect it to both my iPhone and to my mac fairly quickly. Because I was not happy with the projector sound, I directly connected the projector to an external speaker, and that made for a much better watching experience. Next, as I suspected, I tried to watch content from Hulu (including live TV), Prime, and Apple+ with zero success. All three services block their content being beamed through a projector like this one. I did have a little better luck with YouTube because there are numerous boot-legged movies posted to that site that don't include the encryption blocking them from being played. Of course, the video quality is less than it would have been on video from the other services, so this is not really much of an answer. On the other hand, I was able to watch the other content I normally watch on YouTube via the projector since none of that type of stiff seems to be encrypted.Where the projector really shines is on movies watched via my directly-connected Blu-Ray DVD player. The color and clarity on the movie I watched first (Pulp Fiction) was pretty remarkable considering that I had blown it up to cover almost the entire 100-inch screen that comes with the projector. Of course, that was well after dark and with the lights in the viewing room completely turned off. As with other projectors of this kind, it doesn't take a whole lot of light to wash out the picture, so I'll be using this almost exclusively after dark.The projector comes with the previously mentioned 100-inch cloth screen that folds up for storage. The screen has to be attached to a wall (or in my case, a very wide book case) and it takes a little while for the fold-creases to start flattening out - mine haven't completely flattened out yet, but you do stop noticing them after a while. It also comes with a little mini/desk tripod that screws into the bottom of the projector to keep it stable. The tripod is on a ball, so it's easy to make minor adjustments to keep the projector both level and safe from accidental tipping over. It also comes with the cables you will need to hook directly up to various devices. There is also a port to accept headphones directly into the projector and that is a good alternative to solve some of the sound problem I mentioned earlier.There's so much going on here, that I probably forgot to mention something important. If I think of anything else that matters, I'll return later to add it to this review.

The projector quality was super bright. I bought one a year ago for a similar price as this one but the projector quality was pretty bad so I returned it. Now, this one is incredible and the fan did not make too much noise. It also includes a cloth projector screen with accessories to attach it to a wall. I am thoroughly impressed and do recommend this projector.

The media could not be loaded.  I really love this it allows more space in my room I'll be getting rid of my TV cuz my TV is pretty big for my room. I think I'm going to purchase my mom one for Christmas so she can get more space in her room as well! I definitely recommend this projector it also came with a color cord HDMI cord remote a tripod

I received this item at no cost for evaluation, so I am unable to return it. The projector I received appears to be defective right out of the box. The only thing I was able to get to work was the USB input. The HDMI input did not work at all. The iOS screen mirroring worked briefly, then quit. The wireless connection to my laptop also didn't work. I didn't bother to try the Bluetooth function. The projected image was sharp and clear but all I was able to see was the home screen from the projector.

Expensive toy, the engine this is? Too much noise

The projector and parts came in a card box including a white screen to attach to a wall. The tripod stand while compact, does not support the projector -- which is quite heavy and big -- sturdily. It fell several times during I installed the tripod -- need to be very careful. The projector works functionally well to connect to my PC using HDMI, and also projects videos again using my computer. The projection light is not very bright, and the ability to tilt the screen while functions well does not focus the letters from Powerpoint presentation very clearly. I think the white screen that came along with the projector is not necessarily effective. Also the box the parts goes in is not sturdy. I would have preferred to see a more sturdy carrying case for me to carry the parts in to ensure I do not lose anything as I use it on the road. All in all, it is a functional portable projector, not a high end product. I have used more quality projectors with a more resonable price.
