I find it to be quite comfortable compared to other bike seats by quite a lot.
I put this seat on a downhill e-bike so I didn't have to be quite so bummed about the weight of the seat which is something you should definitely consider because it is quite heavy. This being said I really like it. It is wider in the back but shorter overall. This allows me to easily move to either side of the seat during downhill. I could do it with the long, light, and uncomfortable racing seat it came with it is easier and slightly faster with this seat. I so far think it is the perfect seat for my bike. Note it is designed to be a stationary bike seat. It is comfortable but I would consider a much cheaper giant beach cruiser type seat possibly that might be more comfortable. However if you want a more performance looking seat than that on your stationary bike this is a comfortable somewhat sleek looking option that is quite expensive. Note it does have a different appearance than the longer style seat that some will consider not as sleek as standard seat shape. Basically has a bit of a "granny seat" appearance compared to racing seat. I am really excited about the seat as I do 20 -30 mile rides pretty much every ride. I would recommend if you are willing to haul some weight in the name of comfort. I really like it and haven't found a different seat that I would consider instead.

Best seat I've found
I'm an old guy, 80, 5"9", 175 - 180 pounds. I ride regularly, 15 - 25 miles, 3 or 4 times per week mostly on paved roads and paved bike paths, but some on dirt trails. Raleigh hybrid bike with shock absorbing fork and an articulated, shock absorbing seat post (which I love). I tried several saddles (love Amazon's return policy), wide, skinny, sprung, un-sprung and this one, FOR ME, is by far the best. (Your body may be shaped differently than mind.) It has just the right amount of gel in the top padding to be reasonable comfortable (it's not a couch, after all!), and I don't slide around on the surface. It's wide enough at the rear to catch my "sit-bones" just right, yet narrow enough so that when climbing hills, etc. I can lean forward and work in comfort. The full-length slot between the seating surfaces allows good air circulation to keep one's nether regions cool and dry while ensuring that no pressure is exerted on sensitive areas. That said, it will take some getting used to. Take your time with it. Tilt it forward and back, slide it frontwards and backwards, raise and lower your seat post. It took me a couple weeks to get it set just right so that I don't slide forward while riding and I can easily scootch back a bit when not pumping hard. If it has any negative it's that the "elastomer springs" don't soak up the bumps nearly as well as real coil springs, but for me that's not an issue because of that shock absorbing seat post. It could also have just a bit more padding on top, but then my aged butt is probably bonier than most! I find I can ride 12-15 miles between "butt breaks", and I've done over 40 miles in one afternoon with no major discomfort. Not cheap, but very well made and worth every penny!

Amazing seat if you have wide sitz bones
I have exceptionally wide sitz bones. With that, I have a hard time finding the right seat. This is an amazing width. I live in the country. When I decide to ride to town, it is going to be a 20+ mile day, half of it being uphill. This seat was exceptionally comfortable! I never felt like I was rubbing on the sides of the nose. My only, tiny complaint, which may be a me problem, is that I slowly creep forward on it. That just may require some micro adjustments to the tilt of the seat.

5 stars for quality and 1 star for comfort...Hurts my butt!
5 stars for quality and 1 star for comfort...Really nice quality, but the only problem from giving it a 5 star is that is it make those area on my butt that they claim to alleviate is actually making those areas hurt worse. To take into note: I'm a big guy 250lb with a big butt, maybe I'm just to big and heavy for this saddle.

After five saddles, finally pain free
I picked up an Electra Townie this spring and I have been trying to find a saddle that would work. The stock Townie saddle was way too much cushion and put pressure on my tailbone. When I asked the bike shop for help they suggested bike shorts - it seems to be their stock answer. Bike shorts wouldn’t fix the issue as they are designed for riding in a more forward, aggressive manner. After no help from them I tried many different saddles. The RX saddle was number five and cut out that completely takes the pressure off my tailbone was the answer. The remaining cushioning offers the right amount of padding without being bulky. There is a similar saddle the RX cruiser but this one is smaller and not as wide.

Nice seat
I'm not fond of the woven covering material. It's very comfortable but looks like it would allow the seat to get soaked foam if the bike got rained on. Also, the covering is stapled on the under-side which is okay, I guess. I did not expect to see staples on a "high-end" seat. I returned it.

Perfect balance of performance verses comfort
I'm a serious cyclist and this seat is absolutely the best seat I have ever used. I have two bikes with this seat on both. My first Hybrid RX saddle is about 10 years old and it looks almost as good as the day I bought it. It is well cushioned, has beefy springs and has bigger butt pads than many performance saddles, but at the same time it's got that basic performance shape that let's you full-out peddle when you need to. For me, it is the perfect match for people who on occasion take a "casual" ride, but at other times are kicking up/down a mountain trail or blasting along a pathway. Unlike another reviewer, I love the Lycra surface. And, as yet another review pointed out, it is some what bulky, but that's what makes it great (thick padding and springs). Finally, I'm 6'2", 200lbs.

Causes painful sits bones
I was looking for a comfortable saddle that would reduce pressure on the perineum area and ordered this. Unfortunately the seating area is too hard and is not spring loaded. The gel is not a replacement for springs and the bottom springs don't seem to do much. Back to my old Trek spring loaded saddle! Pity the don't make those any longer.

Much more comfortable than the original Scott saddle. I don't even bother wearing my padded shorts now! Would certainly recommend for light-moderate cyclists like myself.

I swapped out the saddle on my Yesoul stationary bike for this and the difference is profound. Ladies, if you're after comfort, this is the answer.

I bought this for my stationary upright bike. Yes it is pricier but totally worth the extra cost. I can sit comfortably now for almost an unlimited time. There is no such thing as a perfect seat but this one is pretty close. I like it so much I purchased one for my outdoor bike too.

This item is a good middle to high-end saddle. Kinda pricey but worth it IMO. Comfortable and easy to install and adjust. It needs to be moisture resistant at this price point. Overall a nice saddle that will last your for years.
