Great book, but there are obvious typos and inadequate practice problems
The media could not be loaded. I have finished reading and practising the whole book for approximately two weeks. The good thing is I do have learnt some basic and must-known python knowledge from this book, the explanation is clear and easy to follow. However, I am not satisfied with the book because I can spot obvious typos, mostly occurring in the book's second half and even mistakes such as missing string formatting in one of the examples. Though the book emphasises "2 in 1 Theory and Practice", the fact is not every chapter provides practice problems, thus there aren't any suggested solutions provided for the exercises. Last thing, I have tried several times to scan the QR code to access the free eBooklets, yet I still haven't received them from my registered email.Overall, this book is great, you are guaranteed to learn the fundamental knowledge of python. Yet, it's not perfect at all due to some obvious typos and inadequate practice problems.

Great content… but, with typographical errors
Within the first 3 minutes of reading, Im finding errors. Normally, not a big deal. But, when you are trying to teach programming concepts, grammatical and typographical errors should not exist.Other than that, the content is great and user friendly.

Poorly written but somehow easily understandable - Is very helpful
Not sure this makes a lot of sense until you read the book but whoever proof read it skipped job day. That aside, for me this helped clarify many of the basic concepts I was struggling to understand. Main one being modules. Would buy again without hesitation. If it was better proof read would've given it 5 stars (I know seems nit picky but too many fake reviews on Amazon and wanted to give an honest one).

Good for beginners but not a great book
It’s definitely taught me a lot as a person learning python. But there’s a few things to note. Some times you’ll run across a symbol or definition with no previous context leading you to have to google extra explanations. I’ve also come across a cut off where it seems the writer of the book forgot to add their continuation of an example. Also the book likes to highlight how easy python is and how it utilizes basic English, but then proceeds to use random examples that don’t make sense, rather than making an example that shows how easy python is due to its utilization of basic English. One example was if apples = 6 is true than print apples = 6 if this isn’t true, then print “school buses are yellow”. If your explaining if and else statements as “else” being a back up option, why not show that through values and strings as well. Over all, this book seems to be written in a rush. Not the best book but still worth owning. Just make sure you have a pencil near by to circle the things that have no context.

Learn coding fast
I purchased this book to help me refresh my skills in Python programming. I was not disappointed. They outline great Hands-On exercises you can follow to help you learn coding fast. They explain what Python is and how to install it. They go over the data types and variables. They outline the numbers and operations and so much more. By the end you will have the confidence you need to start out programming.

Great resource
I’ve always wanted to learn Phyton, but never found a way to do it. This guide is perfect for people like me that no programming background, it is very clear and useful. I highly recommend this book if you really want to learn this.

A definite help...
I have tried to learn Python before now and gave up because the sites and books I had used really didn't understand how to get the subject across to someone like me.This book works for me because it takes small, understandable steps and by the time the author starts setting you tasks, you feel comfortable enough to have a go.I made lots of mistakes and still do, but haven't given up and enjoy reading what's the next step.My tip would be is to buy a note book and write down what you're doing. It seems to help with getting the knowledge to stay in my head.A very good book and I'm glad I bought it...

Excellent tool for learning Python
Beginners will find this to be an excellent tool for learning Python. I had begun a hands-on course that was a little too rapid for me to absorb at the time. I read this book in around 3 days from beginning to end, primarily to pack as much information as possible into my head before returning to do the hands-on exercises. It worked exceptionally well for me. Others may prefer to do the exercises while they read the book, allowing them to work at their own pace. In any case, this book was simple to comprehend.

Easy and intuitive
Python is cross-platform, runs without major problems on major operating systems. Python is a language with a wide range of uses. Directly writing Python code (native) or using libraries / frameworks, it will cover various areas ranging from web development to machine learning, passing through GUI and server applications. The book is well done and deals with both theory and practice. I recommend the purchase.
