Pixelated and poor customer service
I have bought this display after much research. It says it offers a number of features and for the price, and the reviews, i was swayed to go for it.Well, the quality of the images on the screen is very poor. I used it as an extension to my mac, and the images on the mac are sharp, but on the ViewSonic screen they are very pixalated. This ruins the reason to have it, as I use to design & colour promo materials. Then I tried to contact customer service, as there is NO instructions on the box. Their service is diabolical. You are forced to fill in a form, and provide even your home address. Then they email you asking for even more information -- some of it you already gave in the form. You cannot speak to anyone without going through these forms and emails. And as a cherry on teh cake, they are rude.I am regretting this purchase, and only for the trouble have not returned it. But be warned, and go for something else. The display itself is nice, thin, the vesa buttons are low in case you want to use a monitor raiser on the desk. But only just good enough for emails and office work. Pixalated sites and logos will take hte joy away.

Good screen
Good screen which comes at a great price; it is pretty basic but does the job so I would recommend this

Good, but some issues with incorrect or missing parts
A word of warning for UK purchasers, the product comes with a power cable for an EU plug, not a UK plug, so you will need to buy a UK power cable if you don't have a spare in a drawer somewhere. Also, while the product does come with two screws to attach it to the supplied stand, but if you want to attach the screen using the 4 mounting holes on the rear (to attach it to a swivel desk mount for example), you will need to find 2 additional screws if you don't want to rely on just the 2 supplied for the attachment.

Looks like a TV panel.
Not really impressed. The panel looks more like a TV panel and renders text terribly. Even in its special 'Text' mode, fonts have subpixel ghosting and no amount of messing with truetype settings fix it. Reading on it gives me a headache after a while as text appears to leap off the screen. It's fine at a distance watching TV, that's about it.As for the speakers... why even bother including them? It's like a gnat farting in the wind. Luckily it passes audio through to the headphones without interfering too much.eta: After a few days use, downgraded to a 1 star. Even with all the so called "smart" features like blue filter and black correction completely disabled, the monitor still brightens the screen during dark moments then blinds you when the scene returns to light. The constant up and down and the screen attempts to compensate makes the monitor worthless for games and distracting for movies. I'd send it back if I could.

Nice looking monitors but stand difficult to install
Two of these received yesterday. Connect to Surface Pro (2017) through the Surface Dock using DisplayPort - the main reason I bought DP monitors. Screens seem clear and no dead pixels (yet). I haven't checked to see the Hz output in this dual setup. The stand was very difficult to install. One monitor is sitting slightly higher than the other as I can't push the stand in any further.EDIT: After further investigation I discovered that the portion of the stand that slides into the monitor was slightly off-set/bent which was the reason the monitor didn't sit inline with the other monitor I ordered at the same time. Returned to Amazon for a replacement.EDIT 2: Replacement monitor arrived within 24hours (thanks, Amazon). Stand installed easily this time - pop! Unfortunately, this monitor is a return with someone else's name written on the box, sellotaped up (broken factory seal), a hair inside (gross) and some of the connections missing. I wouldn't know about the latter had I only ordered one and tbh it doesn't matter too much because I've got the UK plug I need. The other odd thing is that the 'good' monitor I received last week has a different energy rating and date from this one - the first is 2016 monitor classed as A+++ it with 25kwh/annum, today's monitor is 2017 and marked with A+ and 29kwh/annum. I guess it's related to changing EU regs or something?
