I'm very impressed.
This item wasn't cheap, then you have to add in the cost of batteries and charger, but what a brilliant tool. I had to cut into my car's exhaust pipe as someone had welded the exhaust together. I used a grindstone to grind away the spotwelds and then cut the pipe horizontally to split the pipe using a cutting disc. It went through very easily as the grinder is very powerful. The grinder fitted into a tight space very easily. It may sound silly, but I love this amazing tool.

Surprisingly quite
I was pleasently surprised that this has a "dead man switch" (turns off if the hand is removed from the switch) although if pushed all the way up and in that switch can lock in place which would not be considered a dead man switch. So it's both, depending on how you use it. Very nice. Also surprisingly quiet. (Still makes a fair bit of noise on the material of course).Cuts very well but also very limited in depth.Very very thin cut, same as my Bosch rotary "Dremel" tool blades. This is not a tool for careless beginners. Please learn how to use this safely before using it.For one, a proper full face shield is a must in my opinion. But that's not a complete guide.

Quite literally the best tool an electrician can own
This is a perfect product. Unbelievable quality. No other manufacturer makes anything like this. Parkside do an imitation of this, which I own, which broke after 1 month use.The fact this has a brushless motor too means no brushes to wear out in the motor, which in powertools, is always the first thing to go, if nothing else breaks outright.I use this every single day to cut cables, trim trunking, cut pipe, grind things down. You know you have that one tool that you actually look forward to using because it's such a pleasure to use? Also has an electronic brake so blade stops as soon as you turn it off.5 stars to bosch for a frankly amazing tool.Worth every penny.

Confidence-inspiring
Very satisfying and confidence-inspiring little grinder. Firstly it's small and has limited cutting capacity due to the size, secondly as other reviewers note, the motor stalls pretty easily. But I have found I prefer a grinder stalling when the cutting disc binds than the behaviour of larger grinders, namely yanking or kicking back – it seems much safer and inspires confidence. If you just let the grinder do the work and don't force the cutting disc it cuts very well – the higher RPM roughly compensates for the smaller disc size (resulting in a similar tangential velocity at the cutting edge) and results in a comparable rate of cutting. I have also found it works very well with "roloc" type abrasives using a third-party adapter. Only real disadvantage I've found is it chews through batteries pretty quickly (unavoidable with a tool this powerful), so make sure you have several of them available.

Awesome
Wasn't sure about this purchase as it looks like a toy, it's sized like a toy and my 3 years old loves it already! Noticed that it's not for kids after his playroom started to look like the scene from The Saw series. However, the finish is robust and the action is professional... To be precise, this is not a tool for John-the-Butcher from the workshop around the corner. It is not powerful like your angle grinder. Regardless of the power it makes the job done with revs per minute which are 3+ times higher than your regular 115mm grinder discs. You need a common sense to operate it, you have it, or you don't. Comes with diamond disc - it's like a laser slicer! It makes half noise of your vacuum cleaner, literally you cannot say that your fingertips are gone until you'll notice staining spray on the wall. Cutting bolts, sheet metal, rods, thick cardboard, plastics. Unfortunately Bosch messed up with lack of genuine accessories - precisely Roloc adapter which is a must and can be purchased on eBay. The best and most amazing function comes with aforementioned adapter i'm afraid - automotive bodywork repairs. Grinding off the weld beads is immaculate and silent, SILENT!!! (brushless)... Same as the paint stripping - simply rapid. Forget about air grinders. If you have Bosch 12v battery system already - this tiny thing is a must.

Nice tiny baby grinder
First of all, don’t expect to receive a massive tool. This is a really tiny, almost pocket size grinder. I have most of the Bosch 12v range and this is the smallest. Slightly bigger than the LED torch. The disks are also tiny, you know it’s like seeing cute baby shoes that you instantly fall in love with.Apart from it’s looks, it’s a great tool, works as it should, it’s silent, it’s brushless. I like it. I wouldn’t pay for it over £100 though, I bought it because it was on offer and I’m happy that I did. Perfect for small tasks.

Awesome
This is absolutely spot on for cutting sheet metal and little bolts etc. I like how compact it is which makes it very easy to use. When you turn it off, the discs stop spinning immediately which is a great safety feature. Definitely benefits from big batteries

Great tool
Had it a couple of days and already paid for itself. Fitting door furniture and having to cut short handle bars. It cuts them with ease. It's also been useful for nipping off nails and screws coming through studs. I can see loads of uses for it. Probably handy for tiling too although I may buy a second one for that. It's small blade diameter and big guard do limit its maneuverability. I have thought about removing the guard, but it isn't as simple as it is in larger grinders. Bargin at the price I paid. Would highly recommend it to anyone. All the bosch 12v is superb.
