The resounding theme is that we've traded the paper based bureaucracy of the past for the equally frustrating IT based version of today - has anything really changed?A very humorous social commentary presented in a nostalgic Ladybird style using pictures from the past which children of the 50s, 60s and 70s especially will remember well. I can see this book being a great stocking filler. Recommended.

Funny lighthearted gift

Red tape, filling in forms, enough to drive you to distraction. Instead, read this Ladybird and see the funny side instead.

Brilliant.Bang on at laughing at all those niggly irritating things in modern life that make it not so fun.The format and styling are sublime.Best avoided if you are a bureaucrat.I'm going to buy others in the series.
