Works better than cats!
Even with 2 cats, who are good mousers, we could still hear mice running through the walls and between floors. We tried Vamoose a few months ago and it worked well. My cars were frustrated. Then we noticed they catching them again so we ordered more Vamoose and the mice are gone. I guess it must have a shelf life and need to be replaced every few months. Very happy I found this product - my cars not so. 😂

Works Very Well
On my property, this works extremely well in repelling voles, and a few other creatures. And in my situation, I don’t have to cover the entire area with a mixture of this product, dish soap, and water. Spraying it over parts of the yard usually takes care of the problem over the entire area. I have purchased this in the past, and will continue buying it in the future.

Only time will tell if this works long-term
This product seems to have worked keeping moles at bay in the lawn. I started using it last fall on the lawn and where I sprayed the moles did not invade. The jury is out on voles, which are a worse pest than moles because they kill plants directly. "MoleMax" --granular form of castor beans you spread on the surface (or drop in their holes) and water it in --I've used for many years, spreading it in planting holes as well as on the surface-- but the voles seem to have developed a resistance to it this year. (Local gardening store owner says he has gotten more inquiries about how to deal with voles this year than ever before. A climate thing?) So I started using the Nature's MACE--also castor bean based-- for voles this week and am waiting to see how effective it is. Perhaps it penetrates the soil to the depth of the tunnels better. If it proves effective, my overall "3" rating could go up. I probably won't know for months however. The greatest drawback to this product is mixing it and spreading it by hand sprayer. Time-consuming to mix, and the solution before you add it to water is goopy and gets on your hands making it difficult to manipulate the sprayer or even turn a doorknob without repeatedly wiping your hands off.

Didn't work at all. It actually attracted more moles and activity.
I applied the amount per the directions. I ended up with 18 more mole mounds within 24 hours. I then applied double and added peppermint scent oil to it as well. It didn't work as got another 15-plus mounds. I became obsessed and tried it for three weeks. I have over 80 mounds now. I kept at it and I'm convinced they like the oil as it's gotten worse. They are even coming out of the holes around 11:00 am to check out the sun and go back in. It's a joke. I have a large yard and this specific oil brand did not work. I even tried it with cayenne pepper. Nothing worked. The oil spreads easily when mixed with the dawn soap as suggested in the instructions. It doesn't have a strong scent at all. I expected real castor oil with a smokey scent but this was like canola oil. It was a waste of time and money plus problem got worse.

Didn't work for us, unfortunately
Great idea, but it failed to work. We did this according to the instructions exactly. We applied it 3x in a small 1/2 circle, then a bigger 1/2 circle, and then even bigger one....and never saw any changes to the the number of new Vol holes daily in the yard. We have a very small back yard and were sure that this would solve our issue. Oh well. Trying the electronic repellents next (can't do the poisons, as we have a dog and don't want him catching eating/one!.
