I does sharpen knives
Good knife sharpener but very expensive for what it is

Spend many years trying to master the skills of sharpening knives but never achieved a standard I like. Was recommended by a cookery shop to buy a model similiar to this one . It work for me 8 years. Decided to buy this one after checking reviews on amazon and other sites . Very delighted inspite of the price .

Chef's Choice 464 Pronto Manual Knife Sharpener
Slight delay in delivery which was dealt with superbly by Amazon Customer Service, who could not have been more supportive or helpful. The knife sharpener is easy to use and importantly also safe to use. Clear instructions are supplied and so far the results have been excellent. Before buying I was really looking for an electric sharpener and had some doubts about the efficiency of a manual model. Read some reviews and decided to try the 464 and as I have said - so far I have not been disappointed.

Works well and easy to use
I have always struggled trying to sharpen my knives and have never been able to use the alternative methods. I do a lot of cooking and have now gotten into the habit of using this before every session. Even I can use this and it works! FANTASTIC..... have cut myself a few times though as not used to having sharp knives:)

You can’t put a price on sharp knives
If you’re passionate about cooking then a must have is a sharp knife. Therefore you need this product as it’s the best I’ve ever had

My knives are razor sharp and a joy to use
Bought this to replace a Wusthof sharpener that had been dulling my knives and this is worlds apart!! My knives are razor sharp and a joy to use. Cant recommend enough!

Nunca he tenido un cuchillo tan afilado hasta que he comprado este afilador. No llevo mucho tiempo con el así que no se si durará mucho o se desgastará pronto pero hasta ahora (unos 3 meses) afila divinamente. Pensé en comprar uno eléctrico de la misma marca pero por precio me decidí por este.

Der Messerschärfer funktioniert ganz ausgezeichnet, besser als alle sonstigen Geräte zuvor. Sehr zu empfehlen.

This is really a good sharpener. It is easy to use and does a great job.

Did not work very well. Replaced it with a grinding wheel for $80 which works very well.
