512 Audio by Warm Audio Tempest - Large Diaphragm Studio Condenser USB Microphone + Stand + Shock Mount for Recording and Streaming

This was recommended to me by a friend, and I am really glad I took a chance on this mic! I was looking to upgrade my audio set up once my podcast “The Conviction of a Leader” – started to really grow it’s listeners. I’ve tried a few mics and this is by far the most professional USB mic on the market. It sounds much better than the standard mic’s you see everyone using. My guests have already complimented on the sound quality! I prefer to use my boom arm with this mic. If you don’t have one, the included stand works perfectly for what I needed once I got it set up correctly. Definitely recommend this mic if you’re looking for a more professional sounding USB mic.

Good sound quality and reasonable directional pickup (still gets some background noise, especially if it's reflected off walls) Mute button is awfully placed and hard to press and failed after just a couple weeks of use. Balance in the tripod stand is not great and one has to be careful with orientation & positioning of the legs to keep the microphone from tipping over too easily.

Wanted a great/new microphone, first time I bought it nothing showed up. Got a refund then bought another one because I had hope. Got it and it stopped working with a week. Great sound quality, while it lasted.

I picked one of these up for a family member who streams on Twitch. ​He really seems committed to streaming long-term as he has invested more and more hours per week into his channel. I know he has used some budget USB mics in the past ​​where his voice sounded muffled and this one has blown him away so far! You can tell from the packaging and the construction that the mic is professional and he already sounds better on his streams. I would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their current setup, or someone starting out who wants to have a clear voice right from the start.

One of the only true large diaphragm true condensers in USB form. Sounds great and for the current price, 25 percent of original retail, you can't go wrong.

its pretty good, sounds like a professional mic for half the price. 100% recommend. my only complaint is the blue light that cannot be turned off. Other than that, it's great!

PROS: The sound quality is great, and the price was right. CONS: There is no way to turn off the blue LED, and yes it does become bothersome. A work around is to rotate the microphone so the buttons are on the back side, but it needs an on/off switch for the light. No one sells a foam cover which fits this. The mic is 2 inches wide, and every foam cover I see on Amazon is 2.1 inches, or smaller than 2 inches.

UPDATE: Starting have issues with the Mic button as mentioned below in another comment. it used to be a light tap, now I have to force the button in to get it to switch from muted to unmute. As of now this is just an annoyance but if it gets any worse this mic may become un usable if stuck in the mute position. I actually got this to improve my call quality as I'm on a lot of zoom calls all day and the mic in my camera is not reliable. This mic is awesome and It makes all my calls sound like im talking on a pod cast. I love the way it looks on my desk with the blue light. I put it on a mic boom as it needs to be rather close to my face to hear, and on the boom it works just far enough to keep the mic off the video. I highly recommend this mic, I have received lots of compliments on the sound quality.
