I use these hammers daily, they are a good weight, easy to use. I use a copper or brass hammer for metal stamping with steel punches. The copper (or brass) will wear down with use, it's designed to do this so I can get few a fair few hammers in a year. I also bought a similar version from this supplier with one end being a rawhide (this is great for hammering metal without it leaving a mark on the surface) The bonus with this hammer is having two copper ends so when one side wear down, you can simply use the other end. I would recommend this hammer and will be buying again when both sides have worn down too much.

Good quality just a bit too short and light to give enough shock when hitting parts under the car. Certainly won't damage them. Should last a good few years.

I bought this to unseat an mt-2 taper on my milling machine. You need to give a sharp tap to the draw bar and using a regular hammer would eventually done the stud. I was slightly anxious about size and weight but it is perfect.
