Used this for my printer/fax at work. Has worked just as well as the brand name equivalent.

I gave this company a 5star review because they tried to satisfy the customer in MANY ways on their product. The initial product did NOT work in my BROTHER printer. I called their Customer Help Line and spent a half hour trying to recalibrate my printer to ACCEPT their product. Unfortunately, my printer would not accept their product - BUT - they refused to give up and SENT me 'overnight' a 'certified' tested printer drum - their reason, "sometimes AMAZON does not send out a NEW product (True?) and wanted to be SURE that I was evaluating a certified product -- that replacement did not work either and their analysis was the "Printer itself is causing the Issue' --- i then tried a competitor product that did not work and ALSO tried an Authentic Brother product that did NOT work, which told me, the printer is the problem. I decided to order a new printer.. I give this company an Great Review for EFFORT to satisfy the customer.

Works great! Had to follow the directions to reset the copier to accept the new drum and it works great.

I was excited by the good reviews about this generic Brother drum product and ignored the negative reviews. Oops, was I wrong. I was excited to get a cheap drum for my 8 year old brother printer that I hardly use. It arrived fine and no damage to box. I replaced the old drum with the new V4Ink drum and tried printing a one page document. It printed with a thick quarter inch black strip down the middle of the page, worst then the drum that I tried to replace. I put back the original factory drum and it printed fine with a few black dots on the border of the page. I looked at the V4Ink drum and sure enough there was toner suck on the drum roller where the black strip was. I might have received a bad Drum, but that is bad quality control. The V4Ink drum also felt cheaper made the original drum. The plastic feels flimsy and the rollers loose. I will try to clean my original drum and returning this V4Ink drum.

Not OEM, but works as desired.

Having initially posted my dismay that the drum unit I ordered didn't work on my Brother HL-2140 printer, I was contacted by the staff at V4INK who immediately sent me another drum unit along with a free toner cartridge. I was still unable to successfully install as the error LED light remained on, but the staff didn't give up. They provided more instructions, sent me a video demonstrating how to reset the drum and even had someone from their telephone customer service contact me. Finally, everything worked out. The replacement drum unit and toner cartridge are working 100% and I am absolutely thrilled with the response of everyone at V4INK. You couldn't wish for better customer service! As senior who is completely ignorant when it comes to electronics, I couldn't have wished for more helpful support. I will definitely order from this company again. I highly recommend V4INK.

This is the second drum unit i ordered. the first one did not come with the order so i switched sellers on Amazon. it arrived on time and it installs easily and works very well. happy customer
