It sets off a simple alarm when it finishes counting down, and the interface isn't perfectly intuitive, but if you read the instructions it'll be fine. But it gets 5 stars because it is a functional product for CHEAP.

I bought two of these and set week/month long goals with them. Just glancing at them reminds me I have limited time and helps me not procrastinate. I bought a black and white (for no particular reason, I prefer the white). Seem to keep time fine.

I added a screw to the lid cause it’s too loose. If a child eats a coin battery it’s instant death (or any battery but coin is easiest to swallow). Drill a small hole no more than 4.5mm (you’ll hit the circuit board past 4-4.5mm) then add a screw. Some strong tape could work too.

There should be an option to specify the event date for the countdown instead of the user having to figure out the days/hours/minutes remaining. Otherwise, once you figure that out, you set the current date/time then enter the remaining days/hours/minutes. The setting up isn’t that difficult but it is annoying that you would need to ask Google or ChatGPT for that info.

I got this to count down for my upcoming travel. My family constantly asks me how long til I go on the trip, now I answer them with precision.

I've read the instructions a dozen times. I set the counter once. But, I've never been able to change it. It's cheap... real cheap. But, be ready to toss it in the trash.

A bit confusing to set-up...the instructions could be better written. I did figure it out finally.

Positives: the white color is a nice aesthetic, came with batteries,easy to set up, and like the multifunctional aspect since I got it for a coworkers retirement countdown, and they can use it for other events later on. Negative: the magnets are pretty much useless, the clock doesn't stay on a cubicle and slides on the fridge with no pressure, and I got this specifically because it has magnets. So disappointing and embarrassing that I have to get my coworker stronger magnets to attach to this product so they can use it. The stand works fine though, it's just a piece of plastic you pop in the back.

Got this for a wedding countdown, and it’s still going strong !!

We have been having a great deal of fun with this would highly recommend.
