Outstanding Beard Oil for the Great Mane
I have had a very full (and often unruly) beard for three years and have used a number of oils. Some have been better than others but among the best was Jack Black's MP10, a good all-round oil that my beard liked. Now, Jack Black has come up with the ultimate oil that is intended for beards. It has a fresh and inconspicuous smell and it is as unobtrusive in appearance as it is in smell. No longer will you have an unnaturally oily beard dazzling others with reflected sunlight, just a sense of substance and hold with the look of a healthy bloke with a fine beard. In short, just what a guy with a great mane wants. Well done, Jack Black.

Happy With Product
I have no idea what the 'sheerness' category refers to hence I have not given it 5 stars. But I have experimented with several different beard oils over the years and have tried a couple of balms. For me this is one of the most effective I've used - it does actually help straighten and shape, to some extent, the beard - more an aide to combing properly. Happy with the moisturising qualities of this one - not greasy to surrounding skin. Would recommend.

Good stuff.
The five stars are because it really works well. It adds a good bit of shine to your beard, but not in a way which makes it look wet.It has a relatively unobtrusive smell, which is nice. Fresh, rather than overpowering. I find some perfumed things overpowering. My only real gripe is that it is quite expensive. Not horrifically so, you don't need to use much, but it is at a premium price.

No more unsightly beard druff
My husband has a beard like most men these days. My husband bead has druff, which lands on his clothing and looks unsightly.I have purchased many products promising the miracle cure for what is a common problem with a beard, at one point my poor man shaved his beard off all together much to his distress. After regrowing this problem reared its head within days.Hubby has thick course facial hair, normally his five o'clock shadow is evident at three. To say he was reticent to try yet another beard oil would be an understatement but he persevered and I can honestly say his druff is no longer an issue. The oil has a slight sweet fragrance when its applied but it disappears quickly. Using on his upper lip can taint drinks for a little while which isn't deal breaker. His beard looks thick and healthy, and the oil seems to penetrate all the way to his skin which of course is the reason he no longer has beard druff. Black suits and dark colours can now be worn without embarrassment and he seems a much happier and more self confident person in himself as he swaggers away in his dark suits for workThe price is comparable to many others and is worth its weight in gold as it really does work.Do I recommend......yes of course I do, because your man is worth it!

Worth every penny, fab oil packed with skin feeding goodies.
Healthy skin means a healthy facial hair and now men's skincare is embracing plant oils as a way of feeding the skin underneath a beard which in turn will make the beard softer, lustrous and healthy. Jack Black (no affiliation with the actor) products are excellent as only add ingredients if they are packed full of goodies and have no unnecessary synthetics, parabens, colours or fragrances making them a good choice for those who want to choose good quality products that are all killer no filler. This beard oil is one of the best that my hubby has tried on his beard as it has had an immediate effect, I have tried this on my own dry skin and it was wonderful as both smoothing and nourishing to the skin.Ever so slightly scented like good quality gin (I'm guessing it's the Rosemary oil that's doing it!) and super slippy it glides over the face easily and works into the beard with very little effort.Yes the first ingredient is a silicone but that's for a good reason, the silicone lubricates the oils making them spread much more easily, some of the plant oils included in the mix are not the most 'slippy' meaning they may be concentrated just where first applied possibly causing congestion if the area becomes over saturated. This ensures even dispersal over the face and more importantly INTO not just over the beard. The plant oils included are super nourishing to replenish the fatty acids and moisture levels in the face softening the skin and hair and giving a lustrous feel to the face without feeling 'oily'.As someone with lifelong experience of aromatherapy and plant oils I can say this is certainly worth the £20 price tag and really works if you apply it on clean skin (and beard!) regularly. My hubby has both oily skin and a beard and due to a stressful year he's been rather lazy in grooming it other than trimming when he resembles mr twit, as a result the hair that has grown hasn't been nourished from root to tip and can be scratchy, coarse and damaged. This along with a cleansing brush designed for men has made a HUGE difference to his skin which is nourished and healthy and his beard which is now a healthy fluffy soft cloud rather than a thorny thicket. It has not aggravated his skin to be congested or spotty at all unlike a very expensive luxury one we got from a deoartment store so this is certainly worth the cost for us.Top marks!

It's ok.
It smells clean but nothing special, and doesn't last particularly long. It seems to help with beard dryness but despite being advertised as non-greasy it was stubborn to wash off the hands. Unable to recommend over others I've tried.
