An interesting gift but not for daily use.
This is a very striking pocket type watch. It looks perfect, winds easily and is accurate considering it is mechanical. It has no protective cover to open therefore the crystal is not protected. I think it would begin to scratch with repeated pocket use. For the price, it is definitely a nice gift for an occasion and would be displayed for sentimental value.
