What. A. Difference.
The difference it made amazed me. It improves the distribution of water across the puck and keeps the water screen clean. It seems to make the result more forgiving in case of tamping imperfections.I use puck screens for the first time. I'm just an ammateur, so surely one can get similar results without it. For reference, I use a Sage Duo Temp machine now.I got two sizes. The thicker for the deeper baskets and the thinner for the shallow ones.Cleans easily under water jet.

Disappointed in the Quality
I ordered the 2 pack with the stand knowing I'm paying more for a quality product. BUT.Both pucks screens were severely bent. The box was fine but not "sealed".The 1.7mm one was very bent, the text was faded on half the text. The 1mm one I managed to flatten to some extent but still wobbles on the table.The stand contrary to the pictures does not have the normcore branding.I haven't used them as they are going straight back.
