Perfect!
ordered Friday late, arrived Monday in post (over a weekend!!). I live in high up Scottish Highlands... nearest shops to purchase such would mean 250 mile return journey. once this received, it has taken me 5 minutes to employ the tool, and now able to progress with my plumbing job. it is adequate, simple to use, and do not be put off with any of the comments in previous reviews about the handle needing elastic bands on it! (I say with respect). I have posted a photograph showing how one simply needs to 'double back' the excess rubber strip in ones hands with the handle, and it is not a problem. a perfect tool for the job, low price and superb service. if only all solutions were this simple in life! by the way my job was unscrewing a stubborn 'shroud', on my Bristan Java basin mixer tap. THANK YOU!!

A good aid when your grip is failing
I like it for special jars and bottles etc, but it can be somewhat fiddly.

A useful tool for some purposes but does have limitations
Purchased to remove part of a tap without damaging the chrome it worked perfectly. Not so successful on another tap where there is a requirement to remove an end cap from a cylindrical tap part of the same diameter. The end cap is less than 5mm thick so the tool slips off when attempts are made to apply it to the end cap only, and also grips the body of the main cylinder when fitted more securely further in.. I have yet to try increasing the diameter of the end cap by wrapping it with Sellotape but that, or some other improvisation will be needed to achieve the required result. increase

Three Stars
Works well, but the bands can be damaged if you apply too much force on a stuck item.

Strong and easy to use
Being 70 years old now, I can no long tighten pipe connections for my KOI pond.If you have a Koi pond with pipework that needs connectors tightened or removed, then this strap is a must.

Great value tool
I use a pair of these to tighten and remove telescope components with ease and no damage to the delicate materials used. A must have tool. Very cheap so no reason not to have in the drawer.

Rubbish, broke on first use
I bought this to remove a very stuck oil filter from my car, and the rubber band kept pulling out of the handle. Eventually, the rubber band just snapped completely without budging the oil filter one bit. I tried it out on a jam jar first to work out how to use it, and it did that fine but I'd question this product as a disability aid - it's really fiddly to use. I'm not a fan of the design at all, the rubber band slips out of the handle way too easily as there's no mechanism to lock it in. For an oil filter job, i'd use a 3-jaw/claw type remover or pliers next time
