Good quality item and value for money

I purchased these because I have had some of Mr Beams other products for several years and have found them to be very good particularly the battery life. The lights that I have just purchased are for lighting up steps and level changes in the garden. They work very well. As we have several cats going in and out of the house umpteen times per night, I wanted to reduce the number of times that they set off the lights. One way is to mount the lights fairly high but then the illumination at ground level is reduced. The other way that I found was to mask off the bottom half of the sensor with black adhesive tape. One point to mention is the small piece of white plastic film that is included. I could not imagine what this was for and it was only when I read the troubleshooting section of the instruction that it became clear - it is for sticking on the front of the light under the LED to reflect more light out. Surely this should have been in the installation instructions because I suspect most people only read the troubleshooting section when they are having problems. Apart from this small niggle the lights seem very good and I would expect to get at least a years worth of use out of the batteries

It's a solidly made product with a nice feel to it. I has two time options for the light to stay on, and an option for a light glow at night which turns to a bright light if the PIR is triggered. You can't set the operational darkness level but it seems OK as it comes.One really great little thing - the mounting is done by hanging the unit on two screw heads which you leave poking out from the wall by a few millimeters. I hate this type of fixing as it the screws have to be exactly the right distance apart (and the slots are normally blind so you can't use the unit as a template), completely level, and the heads have to be the right size etc etc....Well, this comes with the correct size screws, and the holes that hold the back panel battery compartment in place are the same distance apart as the slots so you use them as a template! Brilliantly simple.....It looks good and the only question now is battery life.

The motion light is small, but bright and works well as described. Thanks 👍🏾

This was brought to replace the same model which has worked for many years. Is used to light up a set of steps in a garden. Works well and is a very good product

Unlike a number of other motion-sensor lights which rely on pressing a single button several times to choose a setting, this one has two discreet switches behind the batteries (on/off and dim/bright). This is an advantage when you are setting up a light that only activates in the dark. The back panel is screwed onto the unit which is then hooked onto two screws (in other words, if you want to fix it more permanently, for instance with high-strength adhesive pads, you will have to figure out how to remove it later to replace the batteries.It works well, giving a decent beam and good sensitivity range. The white plastic is a little cheap-looking, as if designed for a children's room but it is compact and well-made.

Got this light for my bunny shed and it fits the bill precisely.It is spot on, it provides enough light for our 9 ft by 12 ft shed, it's not too bright nor is it too dim.My bunnies can see at night now but still sleep soundly as there never is a bright disturbing light shining in their faces so I am very pleased.The shed is not lit up too much and the bunnies are no longer in the pitch black so it is a win win purchase for me and precisely what I was seeking.It's a motion sensor light so I've put it up high so that the bunnies do not set it off all the time.I think this light will last for many more years, its so well made and sturdy and its never let us down yet.Because the light can only be activated by us when we pop into the bunny shed and the bunnies can not activate it themselves, I am hoping the battery will last for another 2 more years before needing to be replaced.A dim light remains on throughout the night and as mentioned before, only the brighter light comes on if the sensor picks up movement and even then, that light is not too bright but it is enough to provide sufficient visibility for us and our bunnies.I've had this light for 2 years now and it still works as perfectly well today as it did from the first day I purchased it.I am using the same original batteries and have never had to change them in 2 whole years.I'm very very pleased with this product and highly highly recommend it.

excellent little lamp. It isa bit smaller than I thought but bright and does exactly what I wanted - a porch light to see my way in at night. can't use solar as-not enough sunlight to charge where it needs to be. Battery life is supposed to be excellent and mine woks well with 3 c cells I pulled out of doorbell after a year. main light is bright and triggers well from integral PIR. It has a switchable nightlight function and the time it stays on can be varied.. would also be useful in the house for extra light in a dark corner, loo etc. Wish I had noticed they sell a 3 pack of its big brother (MB723) for less than this one. I'll be ordering that - not 'cos I need a bigger light but they really are versatile, handy and an elegant, easy way to see your way around the house without waking everyone. come with fixings but light enough to stay up with double sided sticky pads. pleased as punch and it arrived in less than 48 hours standard delivery. Will definitely use Mr Beams again as soon as I finish writing this
