Plug and Play Perfection
The Brook Wingman XB2 does exactly what it promises. Within seconds, I was using my Elite Series 2 controller on my Xbox 360 with zero hassle. No lag, no complicated setup — just plug it in and play. The only things to note are that you won't be able to turn on the console with the controller, and occasionally you may need to resync it. But overall, if you've got modern controllers and want to breathe new life into older consoles, this little adapter is a must-have.

URGENT: Blocked by Microsoft on 1/18/24
There is LITERALLY no reason to purchase this anymore. Microsoft blocked it and luckily my return window was still open. I returned it and got my money back. DO NOT BUY!!!Edit: I purchased the XB2 a second time and received it on 3/20/24.I decided to give it another shot since reading online that there was a firmware update that fixed connectivity issues which basically clears the ban warning prompt from Microsoft you see when plugging the device into the console. While they did fix and bypass the ban prompt I saw in January from my first XB2, I’m seeing ANOTHER one this new one I received but this time it states the device will be banned on 4/3/24. At this point it might be best to stay away from this product. It’s not Brook’s fault, it’s Microsoft’s.Also I’ve noticed is when I’m playing first person shooters aiming feels so off when using my PS5 controller on the Xbox Series X. I feel like I’m ALWAYS over shooting and constantly having to readjust my aim. You’re never comfortable aiming. Maybe I will read the manual and adjust some settings but these are the two deal breakers for me unfortunately. 🥲

Awesome adapter!
I recently started using my Xbox 360 again for some older games that aren't playable on the Series X.Unfortunately the 360's controller has not aged well. Not comfortable to hold for extended gaming sessions. Then I stumbled upon this wonderful device via a Reddit post recommendation. This worked right out of the box to sync up with my Elite Series 2 controller and works flawlessly.Whomever came up with the idea for this adapter is smart! This is a great addition for gaming. If you're looking to use current gen controllers on previous gen systems, Brook seems to know what's up!

Product works, but drivers/installer sucks and a bit of false advertising.
From the testing, works pretty well. Within 3 hour testing on 360 and PC with Wireless XBOX Series Controller there was no disconnects. And it's a plug-and-pair-and-play so it's pretty easy to use. However, installing drivers was a *chore* - for some reason, on all my PCs and Laptops dongle did NOT want to cooperate to install drivers. No clue why but software they've "provided" (had to look into like 15 sub-websites with even Google Drive as an offline installer!?) was so hidden I had to mess with it for over 2 days before I got it to work.Additionally, Dongle (or maybe software) is buggy/loose enough that all the previously mentioned software and drivers didn't recognize it - It was "Not detected", "Detected" for millisecond, then back to "Not Detected". So I had to find perfect angle (and wait few moments) before I got it to work with installer.I'm unable to say how it looks on Linux since I did not test that (but I'm guessing it probably works since 360 adapter is built in there without additional drivers) but Dongle on Windows - no matter the port USB 3.0 or 2.0 - did not cooperate with Xbox360 adapter - so the part where you can put Adapter into the Dongle's Port into USB Slot is false advertising, or my fresh install PC is problematic (betting on the former).Overall, it's a good product but *lord* is it expensive to ship. Polish Amazon doesn't sell them so I had to ship it from American one to my address. Not a biggie with waiting but ~10% of monthly salary. Jeez.

This converter comes in clutch more than you think
A little backstory, I was running into a conundrum in where I had to resort to third party controllers for my Xbox 360 to play both OG Xbox and X360 games. I wasn't a fan of the first or second one I bought and I didn't want to keep wasting money, so I did my research to see if there was a chance to use my current controllers for the Xbox Series X and I stumbled across this product.Got it in the mail and all I literally had to do, was just plug the dongle into the USB for the X360, and then plug in my Xbox Series X controller into the dongle and within half a second, I was able to use the controller. Came in clutch and now I don't need to worry about buying anymore third-party controllers and I can just be happy with the one current gen controller I have now.

Works amazingly
If you own an xbox 360 and are enjoying the nostalgic resurgence in Xbox 360 game popularity, this is a must own. I have used this device with an xbox one controller on my 360 for various games and have had no issues at all. Set up was a breeze and I was gaming again on my 360 in seconds.Highly recommend this for anyone looking to play their xbox 360 with a modern controller.
