Xavax 110939 Universal Replacement or Spare Ironing Board Pad, 0.2 x 0.2 x 0.2 cm

This is a good thick felt pad. It's a rectangular shape, and needs to be cut to shape around the pointy end of the ironing board even if you don't need to cut the width or overall length. I just cut mine to the same shape as the old pad. It stays in place and keeps the top cover firmly in place too - I've used mine underneath a Brabantia metallised top cover  Brabantia Ironing Board Cover, Size D, Extra Large - Metallised Silver . I'd definitely buy again, good value for money compared with the similar Minky or Brabantia pads, and I'd recommend it.

Was a little disappointed although thickness was not stated, I was hoping for something thicker. Works, so time will be the judge of success.

The xavax ironing board pad has make my ironing so much easier. It is thick enough that I do not get the crisscross markings of the metal on my clothes as I iron, despite having 2 ironing board covers on top. I was thinking about buying yet another ironing board cover before I found this pad. You have to cut it to size, but that is no problem. The easiest way I found to do it was to lie the ironing board upside down on the pad and draw round it. I am still no good at ironing but it has made things a little easier!!

The ironing pad on my ironing board has needed replacing for a long time, ditto for the sleeve board too. Having surfed a little on Amazon I chose a pad which I could cut to fit the two boards. There was more than enough pad to cover both boards and some to spare too. I think it is an excellent product and the weekly ironing has become (almost) a pleasure now.

I was fed up with thowing out perfectly servicable ironing boards simply because the covers had worn through and replacement covers never seemed to fit right, so I invested in one of these for my Minky board. Problem solved with the combination of this and a reflective cover on top. Ironing is a breeze and the board seems a lot more substantial

Because it says that it fits most of iron boards I thought it would be suitable for mine which is 140 x 45cm. Unfortunately it is way too small. It only fits iron board up to 125 x 43cm. For that reason I give it a 3 stars. I think they should specify the exact size so customers know what they are buying. Very disappointed because the quality is very good. I will have to send it back and hopefully can order a bigger size.

The Xavax Universal Replacement Pad Ironing Board, is supplied big enough to fit any ironing board.The only tricky bit is cutting it to fit ones ironing board exactly. I achieved this by placing the pad on the table then, placing the ironing board on top of the pad and drawing round it with a marker, then using a pair of kitchen scissors cutting round the marked line.The Xavax Universal Replacement Ironing Board Pad ensures that the Ironing board cover is cushioned giving a firm padded surface for the iron to glide over. May as well not have bothered. Fits fine etc., but after only 3 uses every item I iron gets a superb ironing board, cross-cross pattern.

Es mullido y fuerte, por lo que al cambiarlo, se queda la tabla de planchar como nueva. Mejor que una funda acolchada.
