Sodium Hydroxide Solution, 0.1M, 1L - The Curated Chemical Collection

This is .1 mole/liter or .1M NaOH solution. It is purposefully weak and useful for titrating acids or cleaning glassware. You will NOT clean your drains with this, that is not what it is for. I use it to test the strength of home made vinegars, and it works perfectly.

I waited until I had etched a few boards before doing this review… I’m not sure if it’s the mixture I’m using or what, but everyone ELSE online speaks of how this stuff is SUPPOSED TO BE reusable. Mine didn’t seem as reusable. Go figure. It did the job, though. For those reading this wondering WHAT my mixture was, it was approximately 90% this stuff, 10% hydrogen peroxide - slightly warmed up.

It was cheap and in time. Did the job well!

It's definitely sodium hydroxide is just not that strong. I needed it for putting it in a bottle of 10% ammonium hydroxide and gassing out the ammonia to make a stronger solution but it wasn't strong enough for that it barely gassed out the ammonia so I would suggest getting a stronger sodium hydroxide if you're using it for anything like that

The solution worked well as a substitute for potassium hydroxide in testing an chemical analyzer under design.

What can I say it’s a chemical solution. It does the job.
