Maison Martin Margiela

The book itself is a Maison Martin Margiela experience. From the beginning, when you touch the white linen cover and the embroidered logo, you feel that this a special item. The overall quality is amazing but I want to point out its paper quality which is excellent; as soon as you open it, you feel the distinctive smell of a brand new photography book and not that of chemically treated paper. The content gives you a thorough look on what the true essence of Martin Margiela's work is: the photos are magnificent and text about Martin and the Maison is printed on smaller pages with a newspaper-esque feel, making them stand out from the rest - in most cases, they are genuine emails or letters. I'm glad that text in French is translated in English. The 5 linen book markers will become quite handy if you want to read/see it bit by bit. It's big enough to enjoy it and it weighs almost 3,5kg. It's a book that has to be in your library if you enjoy Margiela's work.

This book is amazing. I agree with the comments of other reviewers - the quality of the pages and the book itself (cover and bookmarks) is fantastic. The layout and the content are exceptional - stand out from all the other coffee table books. It really is something special - I love it!

Not to a surprice did this book of Margela strike me as genuine and very creative. It gives us a journey into the mind of a great artist and designer. Ola and Alev

this was a gift for my daughter who was delighted with it ,it takes pride of place on her coffee table.

The book came with some marks on the side because the plastic was broken, a bit disappointed about that but in terms of the book is everything you should have if you like Margiela

Firstly the quality of this book exceeded my expectations, and the content even more so. A must for any Margiela Fan.

The best Margiela book ever produced!

Book arrived well before estimated due date, which was a nice surprise. It was well sealed and in excellent condition. I gave it as a present so it was well received :)

Gorgeous gorgeous! Larger than expected lol, but very heavy duty & amazing quality (I expect no less from Martin Margiela!) The book is a piece of art! I highly recommend getting this if you’ve become obsessed with the brand’s history like I am!

高級感がすごいのでまだ透明のラッピングも剥がさずにカウンターに飾っています。3kg以上の重量なので読む前は本当いうよりはオブジェです。何か特別な時に読もうかなと思いつつ、まだ勿体なくて開けてすらおらず、寝る前に少し表紙のカレンダーロゴを眺めては毎日が過ぎます。癒しです。
