I am an avid detectorist. I bought this pinpointer to use as a backup for my Garrett Carrot. I wanted something that could get me by in a pinch and that I could give to a friend who wanted to come try detecting who didn't have their own gear. While it lacks some of the features you'd find on the Carrot, it is 100% capable of getting the job done and does exactly what it says it will do. I feel like it is well built as opposed to some of the knockoffs you tend to see here. It is indeed water proof and makes it easy to track your target. If you need an affordable backup/extra pinpointer or just need something that won't set you back $150 I would highly recommend this tool. You won't be disappointed!

I bought this pinpointer for a few reasons. One to be able to pinpoint treasure once found in a general area with my larger metal detector. The other reason I bought this was to find the pins I could not locate for some time at my property that is in the woods. This pinpointer is very accurate and very easy to use. Pulling it out the box and putting in the battery is about all the learning I had to do to be able to use it properly and quickly. The instructions in the box were easy to read and understand. The overall quality seems to be very good and seems like it will be a reliable tool for a long time to come. I submerged to pinpointer in about 1 ft of water for 15 seconds and had no problems whatsoever. For the price and quality the pinpointer seems very worthy and I highly recommend it.

This is a decent pin pointer, but what pains me is that it turns on every time I put it into the handy belt case. It should have a different type of on/off switch

The media could not be loaded. So far I’ve been enjoying playing with this thing. When it warms up outside, I would like to search the backyard for dropped coins and other random valuables but it’s also great for finding screws in the wall if you’re doing any sort of remodeling on your house and I can’t count how many times I’ve been working on the car and dropped a screw or bolt that is the same color as the concrete so I imagine this would make that a lot easier to find as well. Looking forward to figuring out everything else that this thing can do, but definitely worth the money, if you ask me I love it.

First off, I don't leave many reviews. But needed to here. We went metal detecting the next few hours after receiving and works right out of the box. Uses a single nine volt battery, and has haptic feedback as well as a audible tone. And it is very sensitive.Directions for use were minimal. The device has a single button and screen only shows signal strength. Long hold to turn on/off and seems to have multiple modes selected by quick press but I'm still trying to learn what they are specifically. I'm very new to metal detecting as are My 11 and 13 year olds, and they loved using it and helping find artifacts with it. Interesting thing happened when using it against damp soil, is that it gave what seemed to be a false signal tone. I'm not entirely sure if other pinpoint devices do this as well.Seems to chew through batteries.Suggestions to manufacturer, please include instructions are very helpful.Wanted to share this hoping it may help others make an educated purchase.SD

I think this is a great machine easy to assemble, light weight but sturdy with easy to read and understand the settings I'm looking forward to using it as I just recently got it

The media could not be loaded. It's small super useful definitely worth the money I can take my kids on cool little treasure hunts 😀😉 it's not some cheap little piece of junk I especially like how the battery fits into the back and that it comes with a battery definitely worth the money
