I bought this on a Monday morning after trying to do some work on my laptop from my external Samsung HDD only to find my connection between the HDD & laptop constantly dropping out. Having a quick look online I found this cable, it was cheap, the right size and I could get it delivered the same day. Ordered it and sure enough, several hours later it turns up on my door step. Took it out of the packaging and the first thing you notice is simple the thickness of the cable, the thickness of this cable is nearly double that as the standard Samsung cable, this cable is much more steadier than it's OEM equivalent. Each end of the cable is gold to give it a better connectivity & once connected at both end's it has a strong connection and will not become disconnected from a simple nudge or moving it at all. Must say this is a premium feeling & quality cable for a great price!

I purchased this to replace a faulty cable that I had with an external USB3 hard drive. The first thing that came to mind when I received the item is the excellent quality of the cable, which has a really nice weighty cable. Coupled with its gold-plated terminals, it feels like a really durable and long-lasting cable so I’m glad I’ve purchased this. It’s definitely a USB3 as I’m getting the expected data transfer speeds I expected on my 7200 RPM SATA III external hard drive. It’s only been a few months since purchase so time will tell, but if URGREEN’s other products give me the positive impression that this does, then I’ll be buying more of their stuff in future.

I used this cable to connect my hard drive to smart tv for recording programmes. The manufacturer supplied cable with the hard drive is short, usually for use with PC or laptop. This cable gives me flexibility to place the hard drive where I want, away from the tv. It works fine.

Arrived safely, on time and undamaged - packed in plastic bags in an amazon card envelope. I'd bought a Toshiba USB3 external hard drive from CEX a few days before to use as an external XB1 drive. I tested that drive on a PC (as I do with all my drives) and found it struggling to manage a 15MBs transfer rate. My older WD and Samsung USB3 drives regularly manage 25-30MBs, so something was clearly wrong, but the drive diagnostics said the Toshiba drive was fine. So, bought this cable and the Toshiba magically went up to an 80-100MBs transfer rate. And, guess what, so did the WD and Samsung That is such a massive improvement that I double checked it on a couple of different PCs.That was my experience anyway, your speeds may vary. I don't know whether to be happy that these £4 cables appear to be so good ........ or angry that CEX, Toshiba, WD and Samsung apparently ship such low quality cables with their £100 external hard drives! Maybe CEX, Toshiba, WD and Samsung should save a few more pennies and just ship a bit of wet string for use as a cable with their drives! Anyway, needless to say, I'll be getting a half dozen more of these cables to replace all the USB3 cables my family are currently using.

El cable lo compré para mi novia, que tiene un Samsung Galaxy. Compramos varios cables baratos en tiendas de electrónica, pero terminaban rompiéndose, o no cargaban bien (salía el letrero de que la carga será lenta y que conectes el cargador original). Al comprar este, primero notamos que se conectó muy herméticamente. Casi hace click cuando enchufa. Y al usarlo con un cargador de 2000mha, todo cambió casi milagrosamente. Antes su teléfono, con cables baratos y así, tardaba como 6 horas en cargar, con suerte. Ahora carga en menos de una hora. Y el cable es muy resistente, se ve reforzado, y muy elegante incluso. Ella quedó feliz porque se ahorró un celular (pensó que era la entrada de corriente del teléfono) y si algo le pasa al que ya compramos, definitivamente compraremos otro igual. Es una marca China, pero se ve que se esmeran en darle renombre a sus productos con calidad y atención. Los recomiendo al 100, y tal vez puedan hacer maravillas. El envío con Estafeta, gratis, me llegó en dos días, por lo que una vez más Amazon saca 10.

Für meine externe Intenso Festplatte habe ich mir dieses Datenkabel von UGREEN bestellt. Das ist das linke Kabel auf dem Foto. Das rechte Kabel ist das Standard Kabel, dass beim Kauf enthalten ist. Warum habe ich mich gerade für das 0,5 Meter lange Kabel von UGREEN entschieden 🤔 Mir war wichtig, dass die Verbindungensstücke vergoldet sind um eine bessere Leitfähigkeit zu erhalten. Desweiteren musste es ein USB 3.0 Anschluss sein um eine schnelle Datenverarbeitung zu erzielen. Ich bin jetzt kein Fachmann, aber ich bin der Überzeug, dass ein kurzes Kabel besser ist als ein langes. Zumindest von meiner Logik her. Wenn das Kabel viel länger ist, dauert die Datenübertragung auch länger. Weil sie ja einen längeren Weg zurücklegen müssen. Auch ist das UGREEN Kabel besser abgeschirmt und so. Sieht man an der dicke das Kabels und man fühlt die bessere Qualität förmlich. Da ich schon öfter Kabel von UGREEN gekauft habe und damit immer sehr zufrieden war, habe ich mich schlussendlich für dieses Datenkabel entschieden. Ich habe das Kabel natürlich gleich ausprobiert und festgestellt, dass die Datenübertragung besser ist als vorher. Genaue Werte habe ich allerdings nicht. Gibt ja Probleme und so wo einem das alles angezeigt wird. Alles in allem kann ich dieses Kabel wärmstens weiter empfehlen.
