Kids love these, keeps them busy for hours. So much creativity can stem from these, many build options.

This is a versatile set which is great fun to use with my 3 1/2 year old. We have enjoyed building many things together, including several of the models in the instruction book, which I found easy to follow. He has been able to use his own ideas to make original creations. As he gets older I anticipate he will be able to build things on his own, including some of the more advanced models given in the instruction book. There is a good range of difficulty from very easy to much more challenging, so I think this will provide entertainment for many years. I emailed the company to request some more of the little connecting pieces as we had a few ideas of extra things to build using them. They immediately replied and sent some more of those pieces at no extra cost. I highly recommend this product and this company!

I first discovered these at a thrift store so I bought them for my grandchildren. They have been the favorite for several years though we have quite a collection of building type toys. As more grandchildren have come along, more want to play with these together and there weren’t enough pieces to go around, so I bought another set. Especially the boys love them, a 4 and 5 year old play with nothing else and come up with such imaginative structures and excitedly tell us what they made and what it does! They hold up pretty well, a few balls have cracked in half and many of the flat plates have lost some of their connections but that is mainly because the boys dump them out and as they walk around the room, they are getting stepped on. Even so, these are worth buying for the hours and hours of playtime they are getting.

I don't want to give 3 stars because it's really good product but it has two big downsides. If you want to build something you must buy two of these sets. If you buy one you can build only from easy build and maybe something from medium difficulty. Unfortunately you can't find this info when you buy it. Also you don't get printed book. You can only download manual from IQ site. Of course you can print it but it does'n look clear on the paper. So unless you have laptop you attached to your computer. Other than that I can it's perfect toy for kids. Easy to connect parts, disassemble and your construction not falling apart.

Ages 6 &10. Kept them busy during a 2-day visit, instead of being on their tablets, believe it or not!

My son is 5 and he uses this a lot. He creates spinners, and tall imagination things, and this is one of the best items for him to use creativity. Easy to assemble and so much fun.

I picked this up because I've been looking for some educational toys for some children I've been looking after. They all enjoy building blocks and legos, but I wanted to find something a little more intuitive for them. This is an excellent little construction set that is extremely versatile and well made. Feels solid, yet the pieces separate easily when needed, and due to the vast number of ways the pieces can be connected, the possibilities are limitless of what can be built. Comes with a nice plastic case and feels really well made. This would have been a solid 4/5 stars except for one glaring mistake. A booklet is included with many different things that can be constructed with the set, animals, vehicles etc. All great except when I realized that a LOT of these designs can't be built with just one set - you'd need at least two for most of them because there aren't enough of each particular piece. It's extremely difficult to explain to a special needs child why something can't be constructed exactly as it appears on the page. They get extremely focused and almost OCD on matching the picture, so even trying something simple like substituting one short yellow piece for a blue does not go down well. It turned what was a really fun activity into a frustrating experience. Why would you include a booklet of designs that can't be achieved? Apart from that flaw, it's a great kit.

I bought this as a gift for my friend’s son. I was expected they will come with the box just like in the picture but they came in a plastic contender. Don’t know how am going to wrap them 😞
