if you're looking for a good all rounder screen protector, I highly recommend the armorsuit. installation was easy (just watch the video, seriously, this was one of the easiest screen protectors to put on). a tip from a previous reviewer - use a hair dryer to soften the edges for better adaptation along curved edges, works like a charm! the protector is nearly invisible on my pixel 2xl, even with a case on. I've not had any issues with touch sensitivity. it does feel "thicker" than other screen protectors, an almost vinyl like feeling but it definitely feels more premium. Be careful if you have long nails or a stylus as this will mark the surface (which does not seem to go away) but they are only visible if the phone screen is off. This is the first screen protector that I've used that has NOT been a fingerprint magnet and stays clear as day despite my oily fingers. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for a good all rounder that does its job well. PROS: Easy install, near invisible after installation, does not gather fingerprints, screen rrmains crystal clear even if protector is marked, feels "thicker" with a slight bounce CONS: any sharp/pointy objects ie nails, pens, will mark the surface permanently although this is not affect performance at all. only one in box, a second backup would be great! overall I highly recommend this product and would be buying an Armorsuit for my next phone.

Seriously the best screen protector I've had in YEARS. The install is more complicated then "line up the corners and press down" like you get with those expensive, shitty glass covers. But it's not hard by any means, it just takes a few minutes to follow the steps. To go into a little more detail, it basically boils down to having the glue side of the protector wet so you can slide and nudge it into perfect alignment. Once you have it where you like it, wipe the air bubbles out. Since there's still water between the glue and the phone, it's super easy to do. Don't listen to the other reviews here saying it's hard to do, or they have a ton of air bubbles stuck inside. Those people probably couldn't solve a shape block puzzle if they tried lol. The protector itself does have a little bit of a rubbery feel to it when you use your phone, but it's only noticable if your really pressing down hard. I have hardly noticed it during normal use. The only negative I have about this is that I didn't find out about this company three years ago when I first bought this phone. Seriously the best thing on the market! The next time I get a new phone I'm coming straight to these guys.

I have used ArmorSuit for a couple of phones in the past. Has always had good results with application and good protection. Moved away from this product when tempered glass came on the market, which worked great for most phones and tablets. However, with the Pixel 2 XL, I have been struggling to find a good screen protector. Pretty much all pixel 2 xl tempered glass, the adhesive is on the periphery of the glass cover only, which created highly undesirable consequences: difficult to fit with case covers, screen cover popping off, dust and debris getting under cover, water and/or moisture from sanitizing wipes getting under the cover and would not dry... Decided to move back to AmorSuit for the Pixel 2 XL. No problems with installation -- just watch the video twice and follow the procedures. The screen is not as smooth as tempered glass, but definitely smoother than a TPU film I've tried. Overall, very happy and satisfied customer.

I had issues with the first 2 screen protectors that I purchased. Air bubbles trapped underneath and distorting of the colors over parts of my screen no matter what amount of solution I used. Customer Service reached out to me offering another replacement (even offering to send more solution if needed). I very carefully applied this protector the same as the past two. I've had it on my phone for about a week now and it is much better. No air bubbles from the beginning and the edges have wrapped around the curved display nicely. If I was just reviewing customer service I would give this 5 stars, hands down. However I am only giving it a 4 because it still isn't the best screen protector in my opinion. It's good, just not great. It is a huge fingerprint magnet and sometimes when swiping the tactile feel of the protector makes me uneasy as if I would rip through it. Original Review; I really wanted to like this screen protector. Most for the Google Pixel 2 XL don't fit right, or stick out on the edges. I even purchased 2 of these thinking I may have installed the first one incorrectly. However that does not appear to be the case. No matter how much or little I use the solution and squeegee, air bubbles remain under the protector. Even after waiting days (even a week on the first application) they didn't go away. On the second screen protector I ordered the screen started to look distorted in some areas (this isn't the case with the protector off). I had high hopes but am very disappointed in both my purchases.

I loved this product! After buying several other glass protectors and having them fall off because of the case, I purchased this one and was just pleased! There are some bad reviews out there about the edges not sticking but I took a chance. I made sure to watch the install video from the website provided on the instructions (actually watched it about 3 times to pick up all the hints on the video, which were very helpful). It took me about 5 mins to install, waited the 12-15 minutes to stick the edges (because they wouldn't stick right away which was explained in the video and said to wait). I let it sit overnight, also explained in the video, and it worked perfectly. My case fit nicely over the top and it is in full contact to the surface. Would highly recommend!

I have purchased this product multiple times for my phone (pixel 2xl) and finally come to the conclusion that this product is just not worth the hassel, let me explain. Since I first purchased my pixel 2xl I wanted to have good screen protection, however no other screen protectors seemed to offer good adhesion at the curved sides. This one did. Application process can be tedious requiring you to contiously press on the curved edges to make it stick. When it is on right though it does looks good... for about 1 week. Then all the imperfections start showing, this product is by no means "self healing" as advertised, any slight abrasion (putting your phone down wrong, putting it in your pocket with other things) will subject this delicate protector to damage that makes the screen look visually unappealing. Although one might argue that this is the intended purpose, I don't think similar exposure to a "bare screen" would cause the same effect. Overall, this screen protector can be a pain to put on without having imperfections, application requires delicate adjustments to put on perfectly. And in the long run you end up having to be careful with this delicate piece of film to keep from looking horrible on your phone. After my many attempts with this product for my pixel 2xl it is just not worth it! Avoid!

I ended up deciding to give a plastic film protector a try. In some ways it is doing better than expected but I still can't give this top marks. The application process is a huge pain. In addition to the usual screen cleaning before application, you also have to spray a bunch of solution and apply the protector wet. You then have to squeegee the extra moisture off, which wouldn't be a big deal if not for the fact that the film slides around. The dryer it gets the less it moves but I had to pull it off and reapply it multiple times since it kept slipping. In doing so, motes of dust managed to get under the film. I was also concerned at the rainbow effect on application but found that it went away after everything had fully dried. The recommendation is to let the film fully dry before using your phone but they say 12-24 hours so you'd need to apply it before bed. I used my phone much earlier than that without any issues, however. The plastic film is nowhere near as smooth as a glass protector so you have to get used to your finger not gliding across the screen like it normally would. The difference is also noticeable when you have light reflect off the screen as you can see the texture, although this effect is not noticeable if there is no glare. I will give the film credit in that there have been no issues with the sides/edges peeling up. I was concerned about this but they adhere to the curve without issue. I have not dropped my phone in the time since I've had the film on so I have no idea how it will react compared to a glass protector. On the plus side, in the month or so that I've had it on I see no difference in the protector (i.e. no visible scratches). The fact that you only get a single piece of film for nearly $8 makes no sense to me. The film is clearly cheaper than a glass protector so why this product is more expensive is beyond me. The fact that so many of us make mistakes when applying screen protectors means that products like these should always come with at least two. I understand that they also package in a little spray bottle, squeegee and the like but there is no reason that they can't throw in an extra piece of film or two to justify the relatively high price. In summary, this is a viable option to consider if you want a screen protector for your Pixel 2 XL, largely because there are so few decent options on the market. If you don't want to deal with the dot matrix on many other Pixel 2 XL screen protectors, this may be a good fit for you. If you are easily frustrated when applying protectors, you might want to steer clear. The film seems to provide a moderate level of protection and doesn't overly impact visibility on the screen. Let's hope that someone is able to produce a screen protector for the Pixel 2 XL that is easier to apply, is less visible and provides protection that inspires more confidence.

The install was cake. If you find debris, just peel back and spray the area (if your phone is waterproof at least). Don't scrape at the stuff on the surface facing the screen! Just place it back down and squeegee the area to get the debris out to the edge. As stated, slight blow drying around curved edges and tooling it down (I gently wrapped it around the screen with my finger) does wonders. Make sure the whole screen is fully seated before worrying about the edges (maybe a DUH! moment but just in case...) It doesn't feel like glass, obviously. It doesn't feel like goo. It absolutely feels weird if anything smears on the screen (face/hand oils, etc) so make it a habit to wipe it clean with water at least once every couple of days. Quick wipes on your shirt or pants will do well for maintenance.

Ich habe in letzter Zeit sieben (7) unterschiedliche neue Smartphones für meine Verwandschaft gekauft und mit Displayschutzfolie unterschiedlicher Hersteller versehen. Keine andere Folie hat so perfekt gepasst, wie die von AMORSUIT. Bei vielen anderen Folien, die für Smartphones mit an den Seiten hin runden Kanten gemacht sind, liegt die Folie dann nicht plan auf. Sieht doof aus und hält nicht lange. Bei dieser ARMORSUIT war aber alles bestens. Die Folie ist relativ weich. Dadurch ist sie selbst ziemlich resistent gegen Kratzer. Viele kleine Kratzer waren am nächsten Tag wieder verschwunden. Voll gut.

Die Folie aufbringen ist etwas komplizierter als einfaches Glas allerdings hat sie eine sehr weiche und eklig aussehende Oberfläche. Säuberung ist nicht gerade leicht und an der Frontkamera löst die Folie sich nach ein paar Tagen gebrauch. Das bedienen fühlt sich nicht schön an und der Schutz ist auch ehr fraglich bei dieser dünnen Folie.
