Green Goo Natural Deodorant for Men and Women, Unscented, Oval, 2.25 Ounce (Packaging May Vary)

I love this brand so I am not going to diss it. The scents are great and it actually works for me! It does leave a white residue but I prefer coverage and just continue my quest for a clear version that works but this review is really about the delivery. It was obvious that ight after I order the scent I wanted went out of stock and in stead of just canceling the order or letting me know I was scent an alternative scent. It isn't worth sending back but COME ON, really? Don't make the choice for people! Who know if a person has an allergy or hates the smell. The scent is not ideal for my taste but I again not worth the trouble. I realize, first world problems and silly but sheesh. However, ANYONE looking into Green Goo I think will be happy :)

Pros:1. The product idea is great. We all (well, most of us) want to move away from chemicals towards more natural products. This product does just that.2. The aroma is subtle and you don't end up smelling like a herbal bag when you lift your arms. I like this because it smells fresh to the wearer and not the crowd around them. Good job on that.3. Keeps you fresh (but may not work around the clock for someone who sweats a lot).Cons:1. The deo is dry....I mean DRY!!! It's so dry that it pulls away the follicles. Applying it feels like I'm dragging an old gluestick over my armpits. A bit of some natural oil like coconut, jojoba, or even some naturally derived glycerin could keep the deo smooth / moist would go a long way.2. The price point is high. I understand that it is a natural product, which tend to have higher prices. I don't think all of that price is because the materials are expensive. There is a market-segment factor i.e. people are willing to pay more for such products and there is probably a higher operational / production cost. You guys should try to make this more affordable to the middle class. However, first address #1.I do use another product from this company, which works great. They changed the formula to this I think. The previous one I had was the CBD one it glided on so smoothly. This was the only deodorant that didn’t give me a rash it’s because it doesn’t have baking soda. This new formula has like little beads in it. I guess the new formula wasn’t processed fully.

Been using this deodorant for a week and loving it! Will buy again. I've gone through several containers of Green Tidings unscented deodorant (also purchased off amazon), which also worked well for me. A friend told me about this brand of natural deodorant, and it's cheaper than Green Tidings, so figured I'd give it a try. The rose and geranium scent seemed too strong at first, but I've come to like it. I don't wear any kind of fragrance or perfume. I tend to be sensitive to strong scents. In the past, I used several versions of Tom's of Maine deodorant which I never loved (but I do like their fluoride free toothpaste). Just a final reminder that this is deodorant, not anitperspirant, like all the natural deoderants I've encountered. It's ok to sweat, because it's a major way your body releases toxins! The only critique I would have is that the consistency is not the most glide-able, but it still works no problem! It's more solid and less crumbly than Green Tidings, which is nice.

I feel ridiculous reviewing deodorant. However, as someone who has skin reactions to my sweat, and is simultaneous allergic to even prescription, "hypoallergenic" deodorant, I need to explain how amazing this product is.I have never been stinky (I am quite active) or had an allergic reaction using this deodorant. It's a bit thicker than other deodorants and has problems with melting in extreme heat (think camping in Utah in August), but this is not really different from other natural deoderants and does not outweigh how otherwise awesome this deodorant is. Even my s/o (who struggles with deodorants being powerful enough for him) started using this stuff and loves it. I have tried every scent, and while this is my favorite (it is subtle and fresh), all the scent options are nice. Moreover, this is coming from someone who usually cannot stand scented body products.Seriously the best, simplest deodorant ever.

Love this. It is one of the few natural deodorants- and I’ve tried TONS- that actually works, and doesn’t make me break out in a rash like the ones with baking soda. Only problem is, the turn knob at the bottom stopped working after about a week! Now I can’t get the stick do move up in the tube! Very frustrating.

The deodorant works really well. The scent lasts all day. The only problem being that this is a very strong scent. Anyone within 2 feet of you will smell it. The citronella candle smell (from the lemon grass) can be unpleasant in certain situations. Not something I would wear to work or in a close proximity setting. As nontoxic deodorants go this formula has been my favorite. I will try a different scent.

I love that it has no aluminum or other harmful chemicals. I thought of lavender smell when buying it, the thyme smell is way too strong and it is not a likable scent.
