1st impression: these poles look high quality, nice carbon weave, subtle classy logo, good looking metal cam levers, plastic parts are well molded. Wrist straps are nicely padded, though the webbing is a little stiffer than necessary. Baskets are molded better and tips are softer, more "rubbery" than the "plasticy" of the Cascade and High Trek poles I have. They are pretty light, but SEEM heavier than my favorite (discontinued) High Trek pair that just broke after 3 years use. Weight (with rubber tips and baskets removed) is 198 grams each. That's VERY light, exactly 1 gram heavier than my favorites. Fully extended, they have a little more flex than I would hope, noticeably more than my High Trek pair. I hope that isn't a sign of fragility. We'll see. They will get significant use in the next month and I'll report back if I have a problem.

These poles were super cool coming out of the box but on the very first use, one snapped in half while just gliding on flat terrain. Going to attempt a return through Amazon and hope everything goes smoothly. Bought two sets so hope it was just a fluke.

I have put down a lot of miles thru hiking and wanted something made of carbon fiber without the high price of more expensive brands. These are not the lightest poles available, they do have a good feel and a nice quality. The regular basket are attached, which may or may not help... I have lost plenty of the screw on kind. The snow baskets do screw on just below the regular basket. I wrapped some duct tape on the handles and leaned on them stepping around a bit and am pleased thus far with the purchase. I look forward to putting some miles on them.

I bought these trekking poles to go on a Big Horn Sheep hunt in Colorado. They performed great! They held up well under the grueling condition. We were hiking in rock/boulder fields all day climbing steep terrain. My buddy had a pair of high end Leki poles that broke. These were just as light and did not break at all. Highly recommended.

These were extremely flimsy and kept shrinking in size; during my hike. They were completely unreliable and I much rather invest in sturdier poles.

My husband has vertigo and has to use walking sticks for balance. Canes aren’t tall enough. These are super lightweight and easy to collapse. I was a little skeptical at first because of the little bit of flex in them but they are strong and after a couple months daily use they are still going strong.

Very very light weight. I’m afraid it might be A bit too skinny for some heavy users. Lock force can be adjusted. Adjustment is easy. Handle is comfortable. Comes with a nice bag. Adjustment range is plenty.

Purchased for my wife. Haven't used them yet, but they look great and are noticeably less weight then my aluminum hiking pools. Four stars until after a few uses.

Use itfor the kKilimandjaro. They were perfect. Similar product were 4 time the price in specialize store.
