Great product, great company
Wanted a larger than average gazebo, which was waterproof and easy to put up. This fits the bill perfectly. We bought 4 of the special leg weights that you fill with water or sand and they have kept it very stable even when it's been windy. In strong winds we would use the guy ropes to doubly secure but haven't had to at the moment. Certainly wouldn't put it up and take it down each day! Who does that? It's been up a couple of weeks now and will stay up till the end of the summer - looks great on our terrace.Update Oct 2012: we didn't have an opportunity to take the gazebo down before very bad weather hit. Consequently 3 of the legs broke, plus some of the internal struts. Quite prepared to have to buy a new one but enquired if it was possible to just buy the frame. Delighted to find that it was, but not only that, it was possible to buys legs and sections individually to make repairs ourselves if we wanted. They sent a photograph of the frame identifying all the different sections. In the end, the price was so reasonable we decided to buy a whole new frame, and keep the old one for spares should they be needed in the future. Great company - helpful and friendly, and obviously have taken on board what customers want.

Not strong enough
Avoid this Gazebo if you intend to erect it and use it in even a slight breeze. The support legs are far too weak for the size and weight of the roof. I erected my 3m x 4.5m Airwave Gazebo with guy ropes attached on an evening when there was no wind at all. The next morning a slight breeze blew and all four legs collapsed. I have two other gazebos and I am not a beginner at erecting them.Problems: the four corner supports (legs) are made from paper thin metal (square box section) and cannot possibly support the weight of the roof if there is any side pressure. The guy strings are made from very stretchy nylon so cannot prevent movement of the structure unless they are stretched to their limit. The guy strings cannot be pulled too tightly as the attachment loops are made of plastic. These are in turn looped through a small piece of material attached to the roof by only a few stitches, presumably to avoid damage to the roof.Tips: it is possible that this gazebo may stay up if the four support legs are secured to the ground by something strong, say, 50mm x 50mm angle iron hammered into the ground on all four corners. Secure the angle irons to the gazebo legs with cable ties to a height of at least 1.5 metres. This may hold your Airwave gazebo in light winds but I suspect not in a strong wind. I have used this method with success on other gazebos in the past when weather is bad.

Brilliant Gazebo!
Honestly this gazebo is fab. I’m actually shocked by some of the bad reviews, hence writing this one!We bought it 3 years ago for a big winter house party to extend out from our back patio doors. It has had multiple outings since (especially during lockdown to enable small all weather social distancing garden gatherings!!).It still looks like it did on day 1, no tears, broken Velcro, or any other damage. Been used in the rain, left overnight in the rain and still fine, no leaks. It is so easy and quick to put up. I am 5ft and have put it up and taken down solo. Better with 2 people admittedly, but regardless, it’s super easy!I’m sure some people will write complaints about the wind, but really that is a general gazebo thing, not specific to this gazebo. We got feet/weights to secure ours. I would recommend the same for any gazebo.I did procrastinate about which gazebo to get but have not been disappointed one bit. Many friends have commented on how good quality it is. Even my husband has said that it has been a great investment, and he never approves of any of my purchases 😂

Met expectations but ...
both the frame and the cover were heavier than expected, it felt rather like putting up a tent. I am sure practice will make perfect but, because of the larger size (4.5 x 3 m rather than 3 x 3 m) it did seem a little cumbersome - four people are really required to make the job easier though and avoid twisting the frame. I had thought the gazebo came with a bag to store, but actually it is only the frame and the bag has torn slightly on the second usage probably due to the frame not sitting fully square in the bag when trying to do up the zip (as I said at the beginning - the frame is heavy and because of that I found it awkward to settle squarely in the bag). I have a large plastic box to put the cover itself in, which will also have the benefit of being mouse proof as the item is stored in a shed.Minor negative niggles aside, we were overall very impressed with the gazebo (sides have not yet been used) - the frame seems sturdy (hence the weight!) - and we comfortably sat 12 with space to move around.I did wonder if I should have bought 2 x 3m square ones and placed them adjacent as I would be more likely to put up a smaller one for quick lunches in the garden rather than pre-determined for parties. The only downside would be that if it did rain, the rain would drip in the "middle" of the combined gazebo. If Airwave could provide a joining kit, it would have been a perfect solution!
