D'Addario NS Tri-Action Capo, Black

The best capo I have ever used. Everything about this capo is perfect. Its minimal size means it’s not in the way when you are playing right next to it. It’s also very light. It’s super easy and quick to fit The micro adjustment means it’s easy to get the perfect sound without any buzz. The unique way of tensioning the clamp also means you get an even clamp across all strings. I’ve tried this in various guitars with different shaped fretboards and gauges of strings. It works perfectly each time. But most importantly there are no tuning issues at all. Wherever you place the capo, you can instantly play in tune. No more retuning a fraction to bring all the strings back into line. I wish I’d got one of these a long time ago. PS. I went for the more expensive metal version, partly because of looks, but also for robustness

I have a guitar that's a little out of whack, and the strings buzz really badly unless clamped down on the third fret or higher. This does that so well! Being able to change the tension is probably key to it, and this is really ready to do that. It is a quality piece of kit, fixing the issue on my guitar (I love playing the key of C shapes at capo 3 anyway). It works well on my competent guitars too! If day is h good value for money.

Capo is excellent at doing its job of barring the frets, I just find it awkward and strange to use as it is backwards compared to every other capo, if you look at my photo you will see what I mean. But as I say it is fantastic at doing its job

Well made, sleak and slim capo, sits behind the nut of my martin guitar very snug. Easy to use and easy to assert the right amount of pressure on the strings not to put them out of tune, very pleased with my purchase, as for how long it will last, who knows as I have only had it approx one month.

Very solid construction despite being slim. The adjustment mechanism is very good. A little on the expensive side but should last a lifetime.

This is the most amazing Capo I have ever used. I watched a YouTube video on it, I have a lot of capos and my go to was a Thalia that cost a fortune from the states, it was good but not perfect. This is perfect. I play a J200 acoustic and it would not only be slightly out of tune but I felt the tone hated a capo after the second fret. I put on the pro plus and it was night and day. 2nd, 3rd, 5th & 7th fret no retuning and the tone was better than I’ve ever heard it with a capo on. I can’t begin to tell you how amazed I am at this capo, it’s in my case now and it will be the one I reach for. The price is great it does exactly what it says, so if your a guitarist that uses a capo you will not regret buying this one

Screw came off within two weeks of purchase. Worked well until then, but clearly this is poorly made. Sent back for a refund

Lightweight, easy to use and the mouldable consistency of the ‘rubber’ cushion seems to make for a good fit. I bought this to replace older capos on which the ‘rubber’ cushion has become harder and leaves permanent grooves in the surface. The durability is something that only time will tell, but, for now, just exactly as needed. UPDATE: 2nd April 2025 Sadly the adjust screw cap has snapped off after very little use. I only received this on 12th February 2025 and whilst using on a 12 string guitar and removing tension the capo knob on the adjuster came off. Initially I thought it just need screwing back on but, alas it is completely detached from the screw stem with no means available to me to fix it back on. Having read further reviews it would seem to be not so rare occurrence. Disappointing product from such a well renowned company. Returned for a refund - no sense in opting for a replacement in these circumstances.

El capó es grandioso. Muy ligero y muy fácil de ajustar, incluso con una mano, tomando en cuenta su mecanismo. Los materiales son de muy buena calidad y se ven duraderos. Ojo: Está construido para guitarras con diapasón curvo. EL capo TIENE UNA LIGERA CURVATURA que permite un excelente ajuste en guitarras eléctricas, texanas y casi cualquiera que tenga una curvatura. Se puede ocupar en una guitarra con diapasón plano, como una clásica, pero se tiene que ajustar mucho más para que la parte de enmedio haga suficiente presión en la tercera y cuarta cuerdas, lo cual puede provocar que las dos primeras y las dos últimas cuerdas se lleguen a desafinar. Pros: •Ligero, de fácil manejo. •La construcción y los materales se perciben durables y de buena calidad. •Amable con el acabado de la guitarra. Contras: • Al dejarlo puesto en el clavijero para almacenamiento. Cómo es curvo, el ángulo del borde se marca en la goma. Aún así, no he notado marca permanente. • No es tan rápido como un capo de pinza. (Lo cual es completamente entendible, debido al mecanismo)

Melhor capo que ja usei!

カポを弦にあててツマミを回すだけで12stをしっかりおさえてくれる。 ツマミがやや小さ目で回しづらく感じる人もいるかと思うが、バネ式やゴムで止めるカポタストに比べると使いやすいと思う。
