Super easy to carve. Good quality

I've used about half of these blocks now and only one has given me trouble so far. It was much too hard to work with, but the other pieces have been soft and enjoyable to carve. Excellent, excellent value!

Am happy with this wood. It does carve pretty easily but I think it could be an issue if your not using the right type of knife. I run a flare grind which slices wood nicer than scandi grinds. Other than that it’s a great product and details out beautifully

Purchased this set for a Boy Scout whittling activity to make the 5-minute owl. The wood is lightweight and soft enough, though sharp tools are key. The pieces in the set were all usable quality, and I am pleased with the value for what they were intended for. Will purchase again when needed.

Arrived well packaged. The pieces of wood were just as described, very clean and uniform! I can’t wait to get carving! I highly recommend and will be buying again!

Can’t beat the price for the quantity and quickness of delivery. I tried this brand for the first time to begin my Christmas side gig of selling Christmas Ornaments for the holidays. I’ll say that the majority of the blocks are quality. There are a few in every box that are very Knotty and have stringy grain. If your knives are nice and sharp, and you have some experience you can work with them. I ordered again, and will again after that.

Easy to work with. Cuts well, sands well, grain is suitable for my projects. Dimensionally the batch I received were generally 0.968" square by 5.91" long if that matters to you.
