This is super spacious! I have a 6 year old Russian Blue who weighs about 9lbs. she hates her hard top travel crate. And with us traveling for the holidays I wanted something a little more roomy for her. I love that the sides zip down and there is more room to move and lay down, and also just a view for her. The dimensions are airplane approved which I'm happy for, and that I can open it open while sitting in the airport. people complained that you have to unzip the bedding liner from the sides from the inside which is true but as long as fold them in you don't have to do that every time. There are ways to make it easier for yourself for sure. The size the material the overall look is well worth the price. and I am very happy with my purchase.***UPDATE***:After traveling with this bag I have changed my rating from 5 stars to 1. I was so happy with this carry on until the top metal insert punctured through the bag and would of nearly impaled my cat if she had been in it. There are metal inserts on the top which makes it to be sturdy. which are not safe apparently. Unfortunately on a flight, I placed the bag under the seat, during the flight I went to grab some treats for her out of it, when I stuck my hand in and felt the piping. It had pierced through the framing and into the center of the bag. It was pushed through the center hard enough that the entire bag was actually stuck under the seat because the piping had got caught on the seat. Luckily my cat sits in my lap and was not harmed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BAG, UNSAFE!

Pros:. Provides extra room a traditional hard carrier can't. I think I should even be able to fit a travel litter box in there for extended trips, although I would remove it after business is done.. Sturdy when zipped up for carrying.. Exactly as pictured, the expansion leans in a little but nothing drastic and still provides plenty of room and the carrier itself seems sturdy.. The pouch in the back provides room for travel items for my cat.. Soft material lining that is good quality.. Lots of zippers so you can put your hand in while traveling to give pets and comfort.. Doubles as a nice pet house/bed for at home loungingCons:. The mesh can be unzipped from the outside but you need to unzip the fluffy wall/floor part from the inside to give access to the expansion which seems like it would make unzipping harder when your pet is inside. I think unzipping it from the other side would have been better.. The main bed part can be removed for cleaning but the wall parts can't.Other info:. Came with a strong smell but it dissipated quickly after leaving it open for a day. I can't attest to acctually carrying my pet in it as I haven't yet. I got it more for vet visits and emergencies (potential evacuation with big storm coming) so i also don't have any thoughts on how this would work on a plane. It does seem a bit squishable though if you needed to put it under a seat.

Large, sturdy, nice soft inserts. Very breathable and expansive. Bought it for my neighbor and she loved it!

this carrier was perfect, the kids call it the camper, and the cat actually sleeps in it. this is a perfect carrier for a large cat small dog and being expandable and with the netting, makes it perfect for your pet to be able to see what is going on around it.

Not only did this arrive fast, at a good price, but my cat LOVES it. She won't let me put it away. I bought it for a trip to the vet and also for future trips. She feels safe and comfy in it and considers it her bedroom I think. One of the best purchases I've made for her.

My cat is very comfortable in this compared to a hard pastic carrier. It travels very well. Love it!
