Hawkeye FishPod 5X Bluetooth Fish Finder

I bought this for my husband, who loves fishing and gear. And more gear. And still more gear. He loves his toys! We took it out yesterday for the first time and were both amazed. It took almost no time to install and activate. It did exactly what it was supposed to do and was easy to operate. The screens are easy to read and have so many options. It tracks the water depth, temperature and will even tell you how fast the current is moving. There weren't many fish out and about, but this unit did see the ones we were looking for. It's an awesome, low cost and low maintenance option. We're taking it out to deeper water this week on the boat and have high expectations, given its stellar performance yesterday. It really did surprise us! You won't find a better fish finder for this price.

Took this little thing out to the lake and was really impressed. Setup was easy, it connected with no problems and has good range. It gave accurate readings and showed fish with no problems. Was able to find and catch a large pike with the help of the lovely little pod. Very excited to keep using it.

This is a fantastic FishFinder The HawEye FishPod 5X. It gives you all the information you need right on your cell phone. Your carrying your cell anyway so put it to good use and let it show you Temp., Depth., Terrian features on the bottom and the small and big ones and schools. That's right schools in session. Check it out. well worth more than what is paid for. Oh you can Cast it also.

I've only used it 3 or 4 times so far, but I have to say, this is a game changer. Being able to see the depth and temperature and how deep the fish are makes it so much better to locate where the fish tend to stay, ive had zero connectivity issues even 50-70ft out from the bank. The picture it gives is very easy to read. And the price is amazing, this feels like it should be 3 to 4x the price it actually is. I would buy again if I needed 2.

I’m highly disappointed I was eager to receive this fishfinder only to find out when it arrived that it’s missing The charging cable. It was clearly used or open before as the security stickers on the bottom were folded in. as well as the Ziploc bag containing the instructions inside was opened as well.

Love it, my only concern is, for the price, you would think the “hole” to attach to the fishing line would be more durable….. nervous it will break, but has not yet 😊

Great fish finder for float tube. I like the ease of use (after set up) and the great visibility from my iPhone screen versus the much smaller screens on other fish finders The only challenge was in the set up. The instructions were not very clear that you need to go into the Hawkeye app settings to enable Bluetooth. I kept going to that iPhone Bluetooth settings which did not work. Once I figured out that I needed to go to the Hawkeye app settings and toggle on Bluetooth everything worked perfectly.
