Outstanding quality on this filter. The pleats are flawless, evenly spaced, and durably braced on the inside. Other companies filters have used low quality paper with uneven pleats that can collapse when under load in the vehicle. When in doubt, go check Youtube videos of "Oil Filter Comparison" and find out for yourself. The extra price is well worth the piece of mind that your engine will not fail due to a crappy oil filter. It is an overlooked part in engine health and longevity. Most people think that as long as they change it with the oil, the engine will be fine. However, particles can enter the engine that should have been caught at the filter and can cause long term damage. People, do NOT cheap out on oil filters. Pay a little more for a better filter, and avoid a potential engine melt down which would cost thousands more. Also, your car may last an extra couple of years if it becomes an older model throughout its lifetime.
