Lovely brackets

Very pleased with these. They're heavy, good quality, and could quite easily be passed off as genuine antique brackets. They come with the correct, slotted "raised- countersunk" screws, which are a bit of a pain to work with ( compared to more modern screw types) but they are, of course, historically accurate. One point to note ( as mentioned elsewhere) is that there are small variations in the position of the screw holes. The brackets aren't identical in this respect. So ( for instance) if you do your "marking out" using only the left hand bracket, there's no guarantee the holes with be exactly the same for the right hand bracket. I'd definitely use these again, they look really good.

The product is as shown in the photo and I am pleased with them. Although, the screws provided are completely useless; head broken in the middle of installation. The big brackets weren't identical as the position of the fixings is way different; good job I checked twice before drilling my wall.

Adds a touch off decorative style, we are using this for a shelf in the hall. The brackets look beautiful and really add a subtle touch of class. So much more aesthetically pleasing than the boring powder coated tat from the DIY shop. Solid & well made, they feel as though take more weight than your wall can handle. Will definitely be buying more for the next shelf I'm told we need.

Looks very good only slight flaw one of the holes hasn't been drilled out.
