Handy for light items, but loses grip over time
I bought this adhesive putty to hang posters and lightweight decorations without damaging my walls. At first, it worked great—easy to tear, mold, and apply. It sticks well to smooth surfaces and comes off cleanly without leaving marks. However, after a few days, I noticed some things started falling, especially on slightly textured walls. It also tends to lose stickiness if reused too many times. That said, it’s still super useful for temporary setups or kids' projects. Just don’t rely on it for anything heavy. Overall, a decent product if used within its limits. I’d buy it again!

Holds posters without damaging walls
I use this to put posters and banners up on walls. Some of these are 90"x18" (245cmx45cm). We just moved into a new building and I'm reluctant to start putting nails and screws into the pristine walls and paint (do not use on freshly painted walls - mine have cured for weeks). I used a 'small pea' sized (1/4" or 5mm) piece every 12-18" (30-45cm). I make sure I knead and stretch each piece well until it feels warm. I'm not sure if that's a given direction. I just remember it from another brand. I have only had a couple pieces fail by the next day and I just re-kneaded them. It's been weeks since then and no problems. As far as reusing posters, I find this works better with laminated or glossy posters, or better quality paper. Cheaper 'craft' paper is less dense and the putty has enough 'grip' to pull up the paper fibres from the paper. [Three years later: Almost all of the posters I put up three years ago stayed up. Several of these are long banners. One of those partially came off after a few cold days, but re-kneading the putty and remounting stayed up until now. I'm leaving that room, so everything came down today. That was fairly easy. Half the putty dots stuck to the wall and half stuck to the poster. They all kneaded off easily, but a couple of spots pulled up the top coat of paint. I think that was more about the paint job than the putty being too aggressive. Aside from picking out the couple of paint chips, I just kneaded all the dots back into one lump and stored in a small plastic bag. ] I spend my summers painting for a school district. I have seen - and repaired - too many walls damaged by staples, nails, screw, and especially tape (cellophane, masking, painter's, duct tape, double-sided foam tape, etc). The tape is especially bad for either leaving adhesive residue or pulling up paint and/or drywall paper. I admit I'm a bit fanatical about using poster putty, as I repeatedly repair the results of more common methods.

Will recommend
This is great for attaching light things to the wall. They are also easy to remove and does not have a strong odor. They are not adhesive enough to hand decorations in windy areas.

Classroom Poster Adhesive
This is the best poster brand I have used for my classroom and hallway. It sustains until I remove it.

Decent mounting putty
Not the best mounting putty. The stickiness isn't that great.

Necesitaba algo para pegar todos mis posters, compre esto y aún se mantienen en la pared, si tienes gotelé usa bolas algo más anchas, va muy bien.
