Has survived small human playing with it, very much recommended for getting the bath right, 'like baby bears porridge'. Works a treat for adult baths as well, or put it under a running tap to ensure water isn't too hot, then allow small human to play with water.

My daughter loves this thermometer. She has a joint condition that means she takes frequent Epsom salts baths to reduce pain. The thermometer makes it so easy to run the right temperature every time. Once the bath is run dip the thermometer in the water filling the little ‘bucket’ at the base, simply lift up and read the result. Not just numerical readings but tepid, warm and hot bath readings. We discovered warm bath is perfect for our daughter. It takes the mystery out of running the bath. I would highly recommend this product. Great value for money.

Takes ages to reduce in temp (appreciate this is probably due to the type of thermometer), different to 3 digital thermometers by 2-3 degs. Its probably fine for general-purpose, but I need it to be a bit more accurate

...this is very easy to use. It feels a bit flimsy, but should last if not abused, so this shouldn’t really be a major issue.

I wanted something that did not look childish and this certainly fits the bill. It has the readings in bold and clear numbers and gives you a guide showing cold water, tepid water, warm water and hot water etc etc. This is, therefore, perfect if you have a fever and need a tepid bath or great to judge whether your spa is too hot. I really like this and do recommend it to anyone who needs something for their spa or swimming pools.

This water temperature thermometer is very securely encased in plastic shell to protect the delicate glass thermometer tube against damage and breakage and provides an acurate reading. I'm very happy with the purchase although Amazon could have taken more care in packaging as it was able to bounce around the packaging box all the way from China, without any protective insulation packing around it such as bubblewrap or the like. But despite this, it arrived intact! Lucky me.

I looked for a long time for a good bath thermometer. Most of them are floating devices designed for a baby bath. This one is so simple. Just dip and read. The warm bath water is captured in the bottom small bucket so you don't have to keep it in the bath while reading it. The scale shows the actual temperature but also marks the ranges for normal bath water.
